Olight Baldr Pro 1350 Lumens Tactical Flashlight,with Green Light and White LED,Compatible with 1913 or GL Rail, Powered by 2 CR123A Batteries,with SKYBEN Battery Box (Black)

I was really excited about using this light for my newest build, and I always get backup batteries for all my lights, but apparently Olight makes their own CR123A 3V battery that is just slightly shorter than a standard CR123A battery. As a result, unless you’re using the Olight specific battery, the battery compartment door will not close. And when I search Amazon for Olight 3V batteries all I can find is 3.7V batteries. What am I supposed to do when the batteries die on my light mid-zombie hunt? I bought two of these, but I’m thinking about returning them and going back to Streamlight. Never had a problem with their lights and I don’t have to buy a proprietary battery.

I really wanted to like this weapon light. The design and UI looks/works great. I have, or rather had, this mounted on my .45 ACP Springfield Armory MC Operator 1911. I fired 90 rounds with the light mounted. After cleaning my firearm, I started messing with the light/laser and it was obvious that the laser was not operating correctly. As you can see in the picture, the projected dot was 1 inch in diameter at 10 FEET! Larger diameter at longer distances. Reliability/durability is suspect.

Great light with some minor flaws.Pros: -Super bright light and laser -Can easily switch between high and low output -adjustable quick detach mount -looks nice -can swap between light, light laser, or just laserCons: -two separate units I have handled will not always activate on first button press. I’m not sure if this is meant to prevent battery drain or some kind of flaw, but I expect it to work on first press. This was not mentioned in the manual. - the switch that toggles between the different light/laser combinations is easy to bump and change the setting. Especially when equipped to a long arm. Had several times where I’d present the weapon only to have the laser turned off.Conclusion:Need some of the kinks worked out in order to be really good.I would not take this light into combat but I’d be ok using it for home defense.The best thing I felt it had going for it , and I wish they made a light only model that had this feature. Is that when the unit is on you can double tap a single paddle to switch between 1200 lumen to 600 (could be 350 can’t remember). It’s nice to have options!

I'm very pleased with my Olight. I have mine mounted on a CZ P01 Omega 9mm handgun and it functions very well. The green laser is exceptionally bright; eminently usable in daylight. The adjustments are easy to make, tool provided, and the adjustments for both the X and Y axis are very precise.The white LED "flashlight" has two brightness levels, but the dimmer of the two is very bright and should meet the needs of most users. The green laser is so bright, it is even usable with the white LED light also being on.The controls are easy to use, the on/off are paddles and there are two, one on each side for left or right handed use.With respect to durability, I inadvertently tested that for you. I had not properly attached the unit to my pistol (my error entirely) and, with the 4th or 5th round, it came flying off the pistol in an arc and landed on the concrete floor of the range. Not a mark on it and it continues to work fine (now firmly and properly attached!).There are certainly less expensive options, but I really think this is a case of you get what you pay for. This is a quality product.

So this Light laser combo is amazing for how bright it all is and how easy it is to use and the controls work great as long as you hit the buttons the right number of times for the setting you want to use etc., but the battery cover door hinges on a single pin that can get pulled a bit loose if you overextend the battery door catch system too far when you change or install the batteries. Simple solution is Close it as affirmatively as you can and then use an armorers polymer punch to push that small metal pin all the way in to keep that catch mechanism closed firmly so the battery compartment doesnt fly open from a wiggly hatch, Not a big enough deal to ask for a refund but kinda wish I didnt have to push a pin in every time I swap the batteries lol......

Excellent seller.......unbelievable product. I had a single yet major issue on day one......my unit arrived with a faulty laser that was barely visible in pitch black. I contacted the seller, sent a few pics that they requested and 2 days later I had a brand new unit that was functioning perfectly. The seller is of the highest quality, especially considering the pandemic we currently face. The unit is extremely high quality. Easy to use, fast to mount and operate, and literally the brightest weapons light I have ever seen. This light and laser, contrary to some reviews of the green laser, is by far better than any high end brand I've used. And I've used alot of them. The laser holds its alignment, the light is extremely bright on high mode and everything is quickly and easily controlled without altering your grip. Very well thought out and executed design. Never going back to any other brand of tac light, as I do not see any valid reason to downgrade to the common garbage.
