I was impressed when they arrived but after having for a month they are meh. I much rather buy the more expensive ones. I am not sure if these will truly last a year. They don't have a smell and look like the photos buttttt I wouldn't gift this to someone that is familiar with forever roses.

The Soho Floral arts roses are stunning. They're in that perfect step of bloom when they aren't overly spread, it's literally like someone crafted them out of alternative materials to get them to look this perfect. I do love that you can definitely tell that they're real, although the smell is a little off for me. I was curious and took a deep inhale to get an almost newspaper scent, not quite the smell of paper, but definitely not the smell of flowers. Again, they aren't for making your kitchen smell good, they're for making the area have a bit of pop and that's exactly what they've done! I have them in our living room on a shelf so the little one can't get to it but they're still clearly visible and so far they've gotten a few comments from people we've had over.

This was a great gift item and a very good price. My wife received a similar item as a gift from a boutique-ish website and that one was $300. This is very comparable at a substantial savings. But yes, as some have noticed there is no smell and there shouldn’t be. You don’t smell dead people at funerals do you? Same thing! I purchased a bottle of concentrated rose oil and squirted it in and it is now exactly the same as the $300 item.
