Very good smell and a thick smooth lather that stays with you during the entire shave. When I run the razor down my face it was so smooth that I thought that I didn't have a blade in it. But , after I shaved I felt my face and it was as smooth as silk. Thank's for a great product.

Excellent shave soap and I've tried many
Excellent shave soap and I've tried many. All soaps are somewhat different. I've found a little extra time working up the lather, applying and shaving in sections works best for me. Has a light pleasant fragrance and leaves the face moisturized not greasy. Good for sensitive skin. Works well with my feather blades for a very close shave.

Does not lubricate and have to shave section at a time to keep from having it dry up on face
It laters really well. But drys really quick and almost no lubrication

I didn't know what I was missing
To be fair, the Ambroley Blue soap I got came with their shave bowl. Great stuff. I highly reccomend both the soap and the bowl. The scent wasn't the fanciest or even my favorite shave soap scent, but the lather and the shave - perfect. That is more important to me than the scent, and that is what aftershaves are for anyway. My experience with this soap has been the richest densest lather and incomparable razor glide. I didn't know what I was missing.
