Often imitated, but never equaled, the original SOREL boot features waterproof construction, seam-sealing and a removable felt inner boot for warmth, comfort and protection in unexpected weather. For an all-weather boot that can take winter climes in stride, check out the Caribou boot from Sorel. A leather upper provides rugged protection with a metal lace up shaft and a felt inner boot keeps the foot warm and dry in extreme conditions. A rubber sole wicks away water and slush, while the heavy lugged sole ensure each step outside is secure and falter-free. P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Sorel's cold weather footwear is ideal for those participating in active winter sports like snowmobiling or sledding, or for activities where maximum protection is required -- like all-season hunting or fishing, or simply going to work. Perfect Fit
First, there are a lot of reviews mentioning sizing being all over the place, so I imagine it could have to do with where they were manufactured, what other brands of shoes you're going by for your size, etc. I typically wear 9.5 in Rockports, Sketchers and other shoes. I went ahead and ordered the 9.5 in these as a starting point. The 9.5 fit perfectly with a single pair of regular cotton socks, so I'm sticking with the first pair. If I was going to be wearing two pairs of socks or really thick winter socks, I could certainly have gone a half or full size up. But with the thick, comfortable liners, I honestly don't see that as necessary unless you live near the arctic, or plan to be out in seriously cold temperatures for extended periods.I haven't really worn them for long periods yet, so I can't really comment on durability or long term comfort, but I do love them so far. They are quite comfortable, warm and have good traction on the surfaces I've been on. They also look great, and seem to be well made. I will update if anything else comes up.

Best ratted boots for winter
After 30 years I finally retired my old SOREL boots, they were still good by the way.The new ones will probably out last me. Warm, comfortable and well made

Size 11 Perfect for my 10 Wide shoe size - Comfortable!
Looks and feels very solidly put together - Uniform stitching and sealing around the soles. Rich, pure black leather dyeing. My feet are all messed up from arthritis but I added a Dr Schools gel pad and I feel no pain. These boots are the kind you can hand down to your heirs - like the pair my Father left to me.

Great cold weather boots
Bought these boots for my grandson because I have a pair I bought forty years ago in Alaska and they are still in good shape even though I have worn them extensively. Yes, I take good care of them and have replaced the felt liners a couple of times. I highly recommend these boots for cold weather activities, particularly in snow or cold, wet weather conditions. Excellent for hunting even though they’re a little heavy.

Great boots
The media could not be loaded. I like everything about these boots . They fit my shoe size 10-1/2 wide and they are really warm . I only need one pair of socks. I have not worn them long so I can’t say if they will hold up well but the quality looks great . Easy to put on also . I normally don’t wright reviews But in these case I had to . I was in Bass Pro nothing fit right and they were all made in China . These were not cheap but I rather pay more and get quality .

So, the thing is…
…these boots are DEFINITELY worth it. Under the right circumstances. Did I over do it with my preparation for my first Chicago winter? Yes, absolutely. Do I regret it??? Meh. Jury’s out.Did I buy a pair a smidge too big? Yup. Order a size smaller, they said. Nope, not gonna listen…is what I said. Well, people recommended to size down, I usually wear a 10.5 (average, across multiple brands) I’m a solid 10.5 by Red Wing standards, so I thought, “they can’t run THAT big…” and you know what? They do. Absolutely. Bought a 10 and I’m swimming in them, with one pair of socks. I’m torn on what a 9.5 would be like, a 9 would seem TOO daring, but…maybe?! Alas, I’ll never know.I wear my 10s with three socks, all athletic style, closest to my foot is a 100%cotton Nike sock, then a 100% cotton padded no-show/ankle, lastly a padded stay-dri sock…so, two padded, one regular…for a total of three but feels like 4…and my boots STILL have a bit of room…seriously. But, you know what? They’re comfy. Like, with the socks, it feels like walking on marshmallow clouds. And they’re warmAF, and oh-so grippy on snow and ice and concrete.I’ve worn them, they’re mine. Would I have TRIED a 9.5, sure, if you can, try both (full size down and ½ size down), my pockets don’t work like that, so I figured “Meh, what’s another pair of socks or two!?” I ordered them on a time crunch. Winter had come and I didn’t have time to ship them back and forth.I like them. They kinda look big, when I’m looking down at them, like I’m going skiing or boarding or something…but they’re snow boots, you know?I’m told they look v. nice, and not too huge (just kinda)I recommend these…but size down a full size

Great boots. Worth the extra $.
These boots are a bit more expensive than the knockoffs out there but your feet will tell you it's worth it on the really cold hikes or a day ice fishing. I've been thru a lot of brands and styles and there are a few that are close and cheaper but there's always a compromise somewhere. I like them alot!

Vendre le bon produit
Le produit vendu rencontre mes attentes. Ce que j'ai surtout aimé, c'est le service offert par le vendeur, c'est-à-dire un échange sans frais afin que le produit soit de la bonne pointure. Merci

Order 1 size larger
Ive wanted these a long time.I wear size 10 but ordered 11. Glad I did.The fit seems like they are fairly narrow boot, but by ordering one size up they fit me perfectly even with heavy socks.I am in Canada and tired of cold feet.Examining them, very well made! Stitching etc.I like that the soles don't trap snow.I expected them to be much heavier, as I always by big galloomper Winter boots, but these are surprisingly light on my feet.Add to that they look great!Update my review after 1 Canadian winter :)

BEST WINTER SHOE
If you live in a place where there’s lots of snow, possibly wet snow (spring) and really low temperatures, That’s a shoe for you. It will keep your foot warm and cozy, and just like a kid, you can enter any puddle without a tiniest worry that the water will get in.Good to keep in my, the shoe size is bigger than your regular size, so look at the table. The other thing is that they’re very warm, so once the snow hsd melted and the temperatures gone up, it might be time to change to something lighter.
