β A FEW GOOD PALEO SMOOTHIE RECIPES β
I was beginning to get tired of chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry, mixed berry & banana smoothies. Ok, that might sound like a lot, but when youβre drinking them at least once a day, every day, you want to mix things up. This was a refreshing change, without getting crazy. I add a lot of extras to my protein shakes like my protein powders, my hemp powders and chia seeds etc. So, I like Flavors that blend everything together. The author has some good smoothie recipes here. Although Iβd call some of them more shakes than smoothies, you can call them whatever you want. If my protein shakes are too thin, I add banana flour (one of my favorites) or chia seeds. The recipes wee easy to read and duplicate, but most had been seen before. Still, if you haven't read other smoothie or protein shake books, you might want to glace through it.Iβve never used rhubarb or some of the other ingredients in protein shakes before, but they sound good. I remember the taste of strawberry rhubarb pie and the thought of rhubarb in a smoothie, actually sounds pretty good. I like the idea of the kale and spinach in smoothies. What I donβt like about the book is that itβs way too short and hence is more of a pamphlet, then a book. The author has a few good smoothie recipes, but should have carried it further.

A modern approach to an ancient diet
This book begins with an explanation of the paleo diet and its benefits. The author then lists each recipe with detailed ingredients, all of which are readily available at the local store. Nutritional information is provided for each smoothie and I really enjoyed the extra tips on concepts ranging from differences in milk substitutes to the nutritional value of Kale and Chia seeds.My wife has been making smoothies lately and I printed a few recipes out for her. Needless to say, she was ecstatic. The author has done a fine job of bring valuable information to readers in an easy-to-read and easy-to-use format.

Paleo Smoothies: Recipes to Energize And For Weight Loss
For what I paid for this one, it was too much. This is more of an ebook than a recipe book. It's only 37 pages with 27 smoothies. While some of these smoothies look really good, 5 of them I will NEVER try simply because I don't like mangos or kiwis or papaya! Only 4 have less than 10 carbs, 13 have carbs in the mid twenties-thirties range, 8 have carbs in the forties-fifties range, 1 is in the sixties range, 1 is in the eighties range. So if you are having to watch your carbs you will be limited in the smoothies you could do. Once again, had I been able to view more recipes I probably would not have purchased this one at all.

This is Smooooooth
What I'm really thrilled about in Angelina's book is her keen sense of what we all need and want. Typically healthy foods and drinks can be bland and in-exciting. Paleo Smoothies bridges the gap between healthy fruit and vegetables and delicious-looking recipes. I particularly like the way Angelina puts the nutritional quotients after each recipe. That way we know exactly what we are getting and what we need to add. Her tips, at the end of sections is cool and just what we want when searching for something we can highlight or copy down to bring with us when we go on our food runs.

Refreshing...Energy Boosting... and great it you for to lose weight
This book was great for my weight lost boost. As a busy person I wanted to jump start the new year with dropping a few pounds. I did not want to do any fad diets so I integrated these smoothies in my day. This was great. They were easy to make, great tasting and some of them felt like I had a little desert. Not only did my energy stay up throughout the day I am down 6 pounds. This is great. I can't thank you enough. Looking forward to your next book. This one is a keeper. I especially love the Spinach Peach!

Great variety of recipes
There are a number of really interesting smoothie recipes here that I'm more than ready to give a try. If you're looking for a good fall smoothie, check out the pumpkin recipes. Nice variety of vegetables and fruit, too. Many people might appreciate the nutrition facts provided for each recipe.

Refreshing
I myself am a girl who just started looking into a healthier diet. I like the introduction and a few facts that are thrown in between, rather than just a large mesh of recipes. For instance, I never heard Chia seeds, and the explanation was helpful. Kale has become a common health craze but you see new ways to incorporate them in your diet. My only complaint would be that there was no conclusion it just kind of ended but overall great tips and good to know.

So far I like it. Something new for me. Paleo was recommended by my Dr. So it's a good fit.

Delicious and versatile smoothies for any occasion
I really enjoyed this book and it gave me plenty of ideas for healthy smoothies I would like to make in the future. I love trying out delicious juices and this has encouraged me to be more adventurous with smoothies too. There were plenty of useful tips and I'm looking forward to making the Pineapple, Lemon and Detox smoothie in the New Year!

More like leaflet than a recipe book!
Poor quality, looks like it has just been printed out on a home computer. Plus there are only 27 recipes and of these, only 3 do not contain fruit. Considering that on the second page of the booklet states "to energise and for weight loss" I struggle to believe that such sweet, fruit filled smoothies would be suitable as part of a Paleolithic lifestyle. Overall, massively disappointed as expected a glossy, enticing cookbook and received something which resembled my local church's order of service! Need less to say, it's already back in the post! Avoid and spend your money elsewhere!

Good selection of smoothies using fruit and/or veggies!

Simple and Delicious
What I enjoy about this cookbook is like it has ingredients can be bought at any store and that the recipes are easy to make. If your looking for fast and healthy pale smoothies, I would recommend this cook.
