I love this foundation, but I don’t love paying full price for something that leaked on the way. Not seeing how to contact seller, so leaving a review.Foundation goes on smoothly & offers full coverage. My splotches & age spots seem to disappear after applying this foundation. I mix two different colors of the same product to match my skin tone (one pump of each before applying).

I really wanted to love this foundation --- the natural/vegan ingredients are great (and don't include any of the multitude of bad stuff that breaks out sensitive skin), it comes with a good price-tag for a daily natural foundation, and it would be easy to consistently purchase via Amazon (as it's not in any nearby stores in my neck of the woods). I tried it in two shades and found a nice match to my skin, and I thought it looked very lovely on me (natural but attractive with medium coverage).But, I just couldn't make it work (and had to send it back) for two reasons:1) The packaging! THIS WAS THE DEALBREAKER! The design of the container is very poorly engineered so that the cap doesn't stay tight on the bottle, even with the smallest of movement. When the foundations arrived in the mail and were already leaking, I thought it simply because they'd been tossed around so much during transit, so I cleaned up the mess and tried them out. But even something as controlled as gently shaking the bottles before application, they leaked! If they were laid on their side, they leaked! When I tried to carry one with me in my purse, it leaked! There is no reason that the bottle should ever be THAT prone to leaking (and since they both suffered from this problem with no apparent breaks/chips, it was obviously the overall design rather than the particular container). If I cannot travel with my makeup, much less shake it up before putting it on, then there's no reason to pretend it can be a daily go-to product.2) This foundation has a hard time setting on one's face, even if you have drier skin. SETTING POWDER IS A MUST. I tried Pacifica's translucent cherry velvet matte setting powder and really liked it (kept that one!), and that definitely helps, but the makeup still would slide around on my face, even without any heavy or sweaty activity. I suppose that it could have been reacting poorly with my daily moisturizer, but I've never had that problem with other foundations (natural and otherwise) that I've tried.In the end, even if I had liked the makeup, itself, I would have returned it for the packaging design flaws. It was a disappointment to me, but if it works with your skin, I think it still has great ingredients and looks very pretty on the skin with decent medium coverage.

First of all -- 40NF is a super legit fair shade. My complexion is regularly too fair for most drugstore brands, so this is an incredible find from a "drugstore-adjacent" (i.e., you can find it at Target and a foundation is < $20) brand.I have combo skin with patchy redness and dry spots on my cheeks, acne on my forehead and chin, and a very oily and textured nose. This foundation handled all of these issues really well except for my nose, where it caked up immediately (which is unfortunately not unusual in my experience). In addition, I experienced no irritation from this foundation. Using a brush, I got full coverage with a single layer --- didn't need any extra concealer for my redness or acne --- and honestly one pump was way too much for my face. The finish is dewy but does not get shiny with a LIGHT dusting of powder and a setting spray (except on my perennially problematic nose; too much powder will cake up). I didn't experience any transfering when I took a nap (oops), so this one will really hold up to a day's wear.Overall, I think this Pacifica foundation is one that I will keep but wouldn't wear most days. Specifically, I definitely could feel my makeup throughout the day when wearing this (though it wasn't "heavy" by any means) and I don't find sensation that too pleasant. I will reserve this stuff for occasions where I specifically want the full-coverage look.

I found Pacifica products several years ago and to this day, they’re one of the few brands I’m loyal to because they have affordable prices, align with my vegan cruelty-free values, and their products are quality. I was bummed when they no longer had this Alight foundation in stock and was glad to have found it on here. However, upon receiving my order, the box was covered in makeup. I initially thought the bottle was broken. The bottle did not break but the top had not been screwed on properly leading much of the foundation to leak out. Too much of a hassle to return and not enough product in stock to order a new one. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!

Didn't look great on my skin, returned it

This foundation is great if you know how to use it. It can be streaky and not set properly if you don't use a damp blending sponge on moisturized skin. I would would also recommend using a translucent powder to set it otherwise it will slide all over your face. Don't pack it on too heavily immediately and it's buildable! Overall amazing coverage. Does has a slight scent that dissipates in no time. Will be purchasing again!

My combo skin really likes this product. I feel like it has actually improved since wearing it. It does have a perfume scent which isn't my favorite, very floral, but it dissipates quickly once applied and it dries down quickly which is nice. For a reasonable clean foundation it's good. I tried Honest Beauty foundation & Mineral Fusion foundation before this and hated them. In comparison this ones much, much better than those. Not my all time favorite foundation, but finding a non toxic one that's not expensive is a real challenge. Coverage is good. Doesn't last all day, but didn't expect it to. I don't wear a primer or a setting spray but that might extend the wear time. Overall good.

El tono me encantó, sin embargo siento que le falto que fuese Humectante para que no se viera mi cara como cartón, lo cual no pasa con otro producto que usualmente uso, quería un cambio. No se si fue este producto en particular pero lamento decir que no me encantó.Actualización: intente usarlo una vez más y realmente lo siento fatal, probé humectarme la cara y la textura sigue siendo igual, muy mala… que lastima.

I'm not sure if there's something wrong with my bottle but it's like water. I spot tested it on my wrist and it doesn't absorb at all, even after rubbing it in. I bought a bottle a while ago and I don't remember it being like this. I'm afraid to put it on my face. Expired product maybe.

Received my 2 bottles.1 was spillage all over and it smelt bad.another 1 was ok, with bubble wrap...but it smelt bad too.both are not usable and I have to ask for return.
