Yes, these are a bit small, but probably not as small as they seem at first. Extra-large is similar in size to a Danskin Size D, or maybe a bit smaller. You have to work with them a bit, you know, stretch, pull, and slowly pull them up your legs, distributing your flesh evenly and as attractively as possible through the spaces.I'm 5'8", 140 pounds, with a 32 inch inseam, and I was able to get them on pretty well.They're made of a pretty heavy duty fabric, very much like tights. This means they won't rip as easily, but it also makes them harder to put on and it may make an unattractively tight frame for the exposed front and back. Warning: if you haven't really looked at your backside lately it will be framed more saggy, wrinkly, dimply--whatever-- than it actually is. If this is the case, then either a) don't show your backside, or b) get a garment with a smaller crotchless area.These pantyhose would definitely not accommodate plump thighs. The wide band at the top can be pulled down over a bit of a tummy bulge, a larger one, not.

I'm sure they'd be great on a smaller person. I ordered the largest size, but couldn't get them over my meaty, luscious thighs lol. I'm 5'4" and 250 lbs or so, to give you perspective.
