Cannot attest to the authenticity of this product
I have no idea if this product is an original organic product or not because there was no plastic safety seal and the undercap seal was NOT sealed. I removed the cap to find acompletely opened product. In today’s world of counterfit products, I’m not taking the chance using this to season the food that feeds my family. Super bummed ☹️

This is Chili Powder NOT Paprika Don't waste your money
Very disappointing. I feel cheated. This is NOT Paprika. I ruined a whole dish by using a lot of this supposed paprika only to discover it is very HOT chili powder. I will buy McCormick or Schilling from now on because at least it is what it says it is on the label. If it is supposed to be hot then say so. But it did not. It is labeled paprika, that means it should be plain ordinary paprika that we all grew up with. They don't accept returns either. I will never buy from them again.

Turmeric no flavor
First beware, you cannot return this or get a refund, no option on Amazon for some reason. The Turmeric was light color with barely a taste. I went online to see if it was filled with fillers and did the warm water test, added 1 teaspoon of the turmeric and waited 20 min. If the water was cloudy, then possible fillers. If the water was clear, all good. This was cloudy water. . . Too bad!

poor quality
I regret ordering this. I sought to return it within 4 days of receiving it and the web page said that it could not be returned. I don't know why. I had to get Amazon's help to get a full refund. The quality seems very poor to me. I have been using cardamom and cardamom powder for many years and know what it should smell and taste like. This one seems diluted with some filler; so the aroma (and taste) is weak. I was using other brands and wanted to give this a try since the price per ounce was much less. The quality is much less too I found out.

If you don't like chopping garlic...
This is the thing for you. Unlike garlic gold, which is way pricier, this garlic product does not have oil. When frying veggies, I fried these garlic bits into coconut oil for a couple minutes and then add the veggies. I couldn't tell the difference between this and fresh garlic. I also used this when making hummus at home. Very nice. I'm glad I bought this. I would still want to buy garlic gold because it's tasty enough to sprinkle on food. This dry minced garlic wouldn't be so great sprinkled on food, but is great for cooking.

Strong aroma.
So I got this specifically because the other ones were $16 for the name brand and this was $24 for a lot more. So we decided to give it a try.It came today and when we opened it, the whole kitchen and front room smelt of sweet onions.Tried it and it has a nice sweet flavor. The only issue I found and the reason I gave it a 4 star was due to being vacuum sealed, it turned into a brick. Fairly easy to break up. A butter knife to stab it or mallet to smack it breaks it easily.

Not at all like I'm used to when buying in a store
I had been getting most of my spices from Costco at a time when I didn't have second thoughts about going into a store. Now I'm searching Amazon for bulk spices. These chopped onion pieces aren't at all what I'm used to when I buy McCormick or even a local grocery store's brand. They don't have much onion flavor. I get a lot more sweetness from them than onion flavor if I try to eat some raw from the bag. They have no onion odor. They're very thin. The appearance reminds me of miniature pine shavings like I'd buy for a pet's cage. By the looks alone, they look more like something I'd expect from bulk food service fare (probably what they are) than something sold for the family kitchen. I've used them and I can't say that they've ruined any of the dishes that I've used them in, but as far as I can tell they also haven't added much to the flavor. One more minor gripe... I was hoping to keep the onion pieces in their original bag. After the second use or so, the sealing strip detached itself from one side of the bag so now I'm stuck using either a bag that isn't airtight or multiple canning jars to store the rest of 5 pounds of chopped onion. I wish that if companies would bother with resealable bags, they'd make sure that the seal would last long enough to make it worthwhile.
