Some of the metal plates may seem to be missing, but they are stuck together. Otherwise a good product.

The tombstones are good quality and the mounting plates are fine. But be aware that--unlike some other conversion kits--these are not pre-wired. That was something of a hassle, especially as I wasn't able to salvage enough wiring out of my old ballast-driven unit to make all the connections. (The included screws are cheesy, but I suspect most people who would buy a kit iike this have decent sheet metal screws on hand anyway, so no demerits for that.) Next conversion I do, I will go back to a prewired kit.

Great fit and workede well

This conversion kit is not for the feint of heart. You will need to rework your existing wiring for the key stones, bend the brackets and then line everything up, but after doing 3 fixtures I’d buy more of them if needed. I used them to convert from old 8 foot fluorescent workshop lights to 4 foot leds. Overall happy.

I’ve installed several retro fit kits, but this was the first time for this brand. This one was pretty difficult to install, the bracket was larger the the fixture base, and I had to bend the metal around the fixture. Very hard to install I do not recommend.

These are super easy to install comes with everything you need which is really nice. Turned some old really nice fluorescent vapor lights into direct wire led lights. Thanks.

Eliminates the hassle of ballasts in LED conversions!!! Advise order a box of WAGO 873-902Lumi Nut connector to make your job even easier as the kit only comes with one of these andwe use 2 for a 4 bulb fixture.

I converted the florescent tube lighting in my shop to LED. Several fixtures are 8 feet long, and I needed to wire them for 4 foot lamps. I used a vice to bend the sheet metal at the slots; this made a cleaner bend. Two of the fixtures were just slightly narrower than the kit piece when bent on the inner slots. When the retaining screws were tightened, the kit piece was held tightly by the "spring action." The third fixture was narrower than the other two, and tapered towards the top. I bent the inner slots more than 90° toward the center, then bent the outer slots back to fit the profile of the fixture. I was able to slide the kit pieces onto the fixture by taking the end caps off. The design of the kit pieces allows many fixture designs to be accommodated. The sheet metal tombstone mounts have sharp edges. Fixtures may have sharp edges too. In some cases, I used a file to make them safer. Out of the three sets that I purchased, one came with a broken tombstone. I was able to repair it with epoxy. I wish the kits supplied an assortment of clips to mount the bottom covers. I had to fabricate some using heavy wire.
