The Cafe Doors by Cafe Doors Emporium are solid pine, louvered swinging doors designed for a 36" finished opening. Standing at 42" tall and 1 1/8" thick, these doors come unfinished, allowing for customization with paint or stain. Included are brass finish dual action gravity-pivot hinges that provide both hold-open and auto-close functionality, making them a perfect addition to any cafe or rustic-themed space.

Attractive, high-end look to our closet!
We are very pleased with the doors...we installed them on our new walk-in closet, and they add style ANDconvenience, since you can easily enter and exit without using your hands. (Like when I take a load oflaundry in to hang up/place on shelves, etc. ) They are sturdy and very attractive and we found the hardware to be very adequate as well. We opted to spray paint ours with white primer, then gloss white with "Fusion" spray paint. It takes a good deal of paint to cover well, but is easy to get an even coverage with "Fusion". They have only been done a couple of weeks, and already 2 friends are planning to order and install them in their homes!

NEED PROFESSIONAL TO INSTALL
GAAAAAAH WHY THE HECK DONT THEY PREDRILL THE HOLES?!! The directions are a nightmare, and they want specifics like 7/18”, 5/18” from where you place the hardware, and if it’s off in any capacity the stupid doors won’t shut. Now the dumb door has been eaten up by the hardware and I need carpenters putty since it all split. As a fairly handy person, I have to say, this is a flipping headache and see if you can buy something else.Yes, the doors ar good quality, but the hardware that they provide with the sub par directions and minutia of measurement- kudos to you people that got these bad boys on and have them functioning. My doorway is exactly 36”, but I wish I would’ve thrown out the dumb directions and not followed their measurements because now I have a mangled bottom door and the stupid things are totally messed up. They won’t close.Honestly, I would only do this again if I had them professionally installed- which isn’t worth it

Looked Good and Installed Fairly Easy
Cafe doors arrived in good shape and on time. Unfinished doors were paint ready and easy to install (as easy as any cafe doors). They are of good quality and needed little to no sanding before painting. It is probably a good idea to hang them first to make sure you don't need to do any surface wood removing to have them meet properly in the center, then remove them to paint and rehang them. Hanging hardware come with the doors.

Look great....
Look great!! A little light weight, the wood down center very light n fragile. It's so light the doors sometimes won't close on their own. The wood going across is gonna break very easily.

Could be better.
Updated: One of the supports holding the top of the door split the wood to where it does not hold up.Would prefer if the hinges supplied would automatically swing the doors close instead of having to consistently close them behind. Difficult to do when your hands are full.

Fragile soft wood splits easy
I agree with other reviews - there is no reason that mounts for door section cannot be predrilled or installed since they have set measurements.I was very careful and used correct screws and I am a above handy guy and wood still split.
