It's remarkably difficult to get good plain paper plates at a reasonable price. These are the ones you're looking for. They are reasonably durable and soakproof. You don't need to double them up for anything. They do stick together somewhat, but they are easily separated.

Too many are stuck hard together. Peeling one apart sometimes causes tears and is always tedious. Looking for a better option.

Made my 4th purchase of these paper plates in late December. The first 3 orders starting in 2020, the start of Covid, they were great. But this most recent order not so good. They're different, much different. They seem thinner, though I haven't measured them. Much flatter, the fluting that gives paper plates is about half what they used to be. And they are no longer grease/water resistant. If they have any coating on them at all, it's minimal. They're so flimsy I use two just for my toast in the morning. Packaging seems the same, part number on Amazon is the same, but the plates sure aren't.

Heavy duty paper plates that hold up to all foods. Great value. Highly recommend these.

Everyday use

They stick together. Not really adaptable for large portions of food or food in sauce.Excellent for breakfast foods and dry items.
