Vacuum Sealer Bags, Set of 4 8"x25' BPA-Free Rolls, Vac Seal for Sous Vide & Meal Prep, Commercial Grade Food Vac Bags

I have long ago departed from the name-brand sealer bags. These aftermarket sealing rolls are every bit as good as the expensive ones you buy in the store or at the big-box locations, for about half the price.One recommendation: A substantial amount of material at both ends of the roll are often crinkled, creased, or folded over. This will sometimes result in a poor or failed vacuum seal, and require me to throw away the bag, make another, and re-seal. This is wasteful and time consuming - so much so, that I now just cut off and throw away the ends, rather than risking a bad seal. A look at the cutting and rolling process by the quality control people should be able to resolve this issue.

I've discovered that the reason for the ridged texturing on one side of the bags is to provide a channel for the air to be vacuumed out of the bag before sealing. The texturing on these is lower profile, so if the food product is touching the sides of the bag, it won't vacuum and you're left with an air pocket at the bottom of the bag.If I did not push and move the food around during the vacuuming process, I was left with an air pocket and had to redo it, resulting in more product use. Not impressed and will not be purchasing this brand again. I have found that SimpleHouseware Vacuum Sealer Bags do not have this problem and therefore are a better product.

Bought these as an alternative to the pricier Food Saver bags and not disappointed. Had looked in Walmart at their Mainstays alternative as well, but the price for two equivalent rolls from them was only slightly less than these.Bag quality is great, can't tell the difference from other brands. I have vacuum sealed my way through two of the 4 rolls already and am pleased with the results. They hold a seal well, and after sitting in the freezer for a few months, have come out without any issues.Will definitely buy these again, probably sooner than I think given how quickly I used up the first two rolls.

I purchased thses for my food saver machine, these bags are a good bargains, and you’re not buying a name brand…the best -art I like about these is they come with a cutter on a both size rolls…no more caissons to cut the bags, which is a plausible..I recommend this brand over food safer.

While the product is OK, I purchase the 25' rolls sinse the 50' rolls do not fit into the FoodSaver internal storage. However this 25' is larger then most 50' ones and teh only way to use it I have to unrole 1/2 of the roll onto an empty core.I will not buy again.

This is the second time we have ordered these bags to use with our Seal-A-Meal machine and they work just as well as the name brand bags for a lot less money. Would recommend these bags to others.

These bags are perfectly smooth with no wrinkles unlike the ones that came with my vaccume sealer. Hard to get a good deal with wrinkled bags. The bags are thick and sturdy.

These are good bags, but once in a while are tough to seal. They tend to draw more moisture out than the food saver brand when sealing, but not too bad.

I like it a lot just next time I will order the 11 inches instead but quality wise is all what I was expecting. I recomend this product.
