Very comfortable for bunion toes, sturdy tread for nice grip on rocky trails. The back velcro fasteners take some practice but function well. Looks good, I like!

was expecting lower quality based off reviews but I enjoy them a lot. I was concerned they were going to be slippery on wet surfaces bc of another review but I don't have that issue at all they have lots of grip. I got my normal size and they fit good. like other reviews said they get caught on socks but other than that fine.

The Jika Tabi fit snug, definitely buy your size. I have a 26.5cm/8.5in. There is enough room at the toes. Slip on tabi, you have to open the neck wide, and make sure not to snag your sock on the velcro. Once closed, they feel great, snug. Very light too, they don't fall off, or make loud noises when stepping. Marugo comp. was excellent with communicating shipping details, and assisting with shoe size. I will definitwly be.buying from them for more tabi.

These are good tabis considering they are mass-produced. They fit well with enough room for thicker socks. You have to maneuver to get your foot in without getting your sock stuck to the velcro. The soles are a little thick for traditional tabis, but that makes them good for everyday wear in places that have things you don't want going through the bottom of your foot. It is a good first pair of tabis for people that are not used to wearing them because the heel has some cushion on it that will help people that slam their heels into the ground when they walk (this is most people although they don't realize it). There is starting to be a little separation between the toe rubber and the cloth on one of them, but that is easily fixed with glue and is a common problem with tabis that don't have the tops sewn into the bottoms. I would buy them again.

These are among to most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I was concerned about the fit (other reviewers with small feet) complained about the size; one reviewer ‘took a gamble’ and got the size 11.5 which perfectly fit his 10.5 feet (my size, too - and I have WIDE feet) — and I couldn’t be happier.From multiple stroke damage and (recent) knee replacement, I have had difficulty finding shoes that work for me — too heavy, too confining, soles too wide (or the opposite), etc. For me, these jika-tabi address all of that. I cannot praise these highly enough. Driving is infinitely easier for me now.Some reviewers have complained about the Velcro hook-side situation being on the INSIDE of the shoe. Agreed, but I have found the solution to be carefully mating the patches together (especially the upper edges) and pulling the tabi socks slightly up & cuff over their tops to avoid any abrasion — I have experienced no problems after figuring that out.I couldn’t be happier with these shoes. I’m curious how long it will take to wear them out … but I will purchase another pair as soon as they reach that point.

Fits perfectly..However, Velcro snags easily onto socks..Toe Box.. feels oddly smushed in!

these jika tabi fit perfectly. i have parkinson's disease and lymphedema, also, heart failure. i am weak and it is hard for me to stand or walk for more than 15 minutes. i got my air jog v set this morning and wore them all day. i had to stand for more than 90 minutes today on line to fill out some forms. my arches and ankles were so well supported that i was able to stand comfortably the whole time and had no deep, familiar ache in my back and sciatic nerves when i got home; i did not have to lie down and continued the rest of the afternoon with no fear that i may slip, trip or fall. my steps were solid and i was confident that my foot would stay where i put it down. i love this foot wear and recommend it highly.

For some reason it has rubber coating but on a photo it doesn't.
