Golden Swan Vietnamese Prawn Cracker, 2kg

First of all it's my own fault for not reading the advert properly but I was amazed at the size of this bag and there's enough to last the entire family for a year. I live at the edge of a village where there are NO takeaway deliveries at all. I always order prawn crackers with supermarket deliveries but usually they are out of stock before order arrives. i thought if I bought the discs I could make them myself whenever I fancied some or had made an Asian curry. As I said what I didn't do was check the size of the bag and the amount inside. I thought the price was good as I once bought some from an Asian supermarket for nearly as much money. Very good value bout check you have a family big enough to eat/use them all before sell by date expires. They taste lovely as well and as made with tapioca flour are good for reducing gluten in diet.

I always try and buy these, they are very tasty, I find them better than our local Chinese takeaway, once oil is hot just cook 3 or 4 at once and they puff up quick, remove them with tongs and put on kitchen paper, once cooked I put them in a grease proof bag and then in a plastic bag like the takeaway, they keep for a few days if I don't eat them all at once ,Once bag of uncooked crackers is opened I transfer to a sealed container, they keep well for ages, I have them for over a year and they cook up no problem so don't panic at the amount you get they will keep,A must when cooking Chinese at home or just for snacking on, very tasty, enjoy 👍.

These prawn crackers are an absolute bargain and damn tasty. Soo fresh once cooked.. Best served with Thai sweet chilli.. I was a little curious at first to buy but now very confident after my trial. I've found what I've been looking for finally. I usually buy a standard pack for £1 from my local supermarket which is not enough for me. These 2kg packet will last many family servings! I cannot recommend it enough, i need to get another pack but it seems to be out of stock for weeks now - I guess it's just not me looking to restock.

It a great value for money buy. These 2 X 2kg bags of prawn crackers will last for a long time and they are really easy to cook. I usually prepare them in the microwave cause it's faster and possibly healthier then frying them. The taste is good though I would give them 5star if the prawn flour would come up stronger. I'd surely buy them again

These prawn crackers have a lovely flavour and are better than the ones we get in Chinese restaurants.The bag says to use within 7 days of opening, which would be way too much, but we kept them (uncooked) in an airtight container and they’re still just as delicious 7 weeks later. Not stale at all.Bought a bag at under £3 and we still haven’t finished them despite frying batches a couple times a week. Great value for money.Saw the price shoot up and was waiting for it to drop again to order more, so sad that it’s now been out of stock for a while. Hopefully it’ll come back in stock soon at a similar price. Would definitely buy again

Good quality, nice flavour, very good.

I prefer these now to take away crackers. They taste so much nicer. And the amount you get well these are going to last a long time. They are very easy and quick to cook just as described. Will definitely be buying these again in the furture.

I bought these as my daughter will only eat my homemade Chinese food if accompanied by plentiful prawn crackers. The ready fried ones from the supermarket are far too expensive. These taste just as good as the ones from the takeaway although it took me quite a while to get the temperature of the oil correct and plenty got binned before I got it right. The only downside is there are so many ! by the middle of the week we were both sick of the sight of them and I’d hardly made an impression on the bag ( which says use within one week). If you are a mass caterer or have a very big family then I would recommend these otherwise maybe a smaller bag would be better.
