I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I feel that if you’re looking for a pencil extender you should know this thing really does work well. In the pics you can see how far that little pencil is sticking out and it’s still sturdy. It was very underrated. Hopefully this helps you make a decision.

I've been shopping around looking for pencil extenders and this might be the best one for me.Compatibility:The clutch mechanism, unlike the metal ring on some pencil extenders, works with a wider range of pencils. My Prismacolor Verithins and Col Erase pencils wouldn't work without wrapping tape around the pencil in standard pencil extenders. But here, they work perfectly without any modification. Thicker pencils like my Faber Castell Polychromos did not work though. Here are some other pencils I have that did work: Palomino Blackwing, Blick Studio, Caran D'Ache Graphicolor, Apsara Absolute, General's Cedar Pointe, Tombow Mono, Faber Castell GoldfaberPros:Another benefit of the clutch mechanism is that it doesn't leave as harsh of a mark as my other pencil extenders, the worst one being the knurled metal pencil extender with the twistable grip section. Another benefit is that this comes with an eraser under the cap!Cons:One of the cons though is that since this is made from aluminum, it's not recommended you keep much of the pencil out. You'll want the tip near the clutch so the pencil doesn't become back weighted. If you want to extend a pencil back to it's original unsharpened length, a thin wood or plastic pencil extender would work better for that.My only other con is when pushing down, the clutch make a strange scraping sound and I can feel the friction. It's not that bad, but it makes it feel cheaper than it could.

I bought this pencil holder just to try it out. I had heard it was a good one; at least in the past. The ones they make now are not high quality. The main body appears and feels like metal, but the inner workings and clutch jaws are plastic. It is shorter than I expected. And it won't grip certain pencils if the diameter is too small. I found one small upside: if you take off the end cap, you will find an eraser. In, short, you are better off buying a different holder. My suggestion is the Steadtler 900 25; that was my first one and it hasn't let me down.

I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews, I ordered 1 just to try it and I loved it, it is amazing and holds my pencils perfectly, it is lightweight and I liked it so much that I ordered 4 more, I am considering I will order 2 more, I really love them!!!

Almost perfect. Very easy to use and has an eraser on the back. Only problem is with pencils with the metal attached erasers won’t fit into it.

WOW!!! Excellent pencil holder extender.Wha attracted me to this product is that it is different from the others on the market using a clicker top push button to open holder and inserting the pencil.Excellent grip and your pencil is not going anywhere. No twisting and possibly dropping the ferrule and losing it.One piece system, sleek, elegant, and not rough to hold while drawing or writing.Available in silver and black.Highly recommended.

Disappointed with the product. Poor quality for the price. The gripping mechanism does not hold the pencil effectively.
