The Weatherman Volume 2 (2)

I’ve written this review many times before committing to pressing submit. It’s simply a great story. I wasn’t expecting as much coming directly from reading planetary which is one of my favorites. However this may take that crown (for me at least).The story had me laughing out loud sometimes genuinely sad (not to the point of tears as God Country but an “aw man that really sucks” type of sadness). It has great characterization. The wonders they do with a character that literally has no dialogue as she is mute really shows how well Jody LeHeup is at creating fully realized characters.The art work is great at story telling with fully realized set pieces that put you in the scene but balances it out perfectly with pulling back on the literally and focusing on the emotional punch. Great art work. And the variants in the back are gorgeous.Oh and the action! The panels and art read so clearly, at times I felt like I was watching animation. If I had the time and money, I would volunteer in assisting an animation of this become a thing. It’s one wild ride and it ain’t even over yet.Just a small tip for those who care: this story is bloody. It’s not as excruciating to see as the first volume when introduced to Pearl but it’s still there.

Great comic. Shipped it to me with the front cover bent. Amazon needs to hire workers that care about shipping.

Funny, compelling action, story, and characters. Fantastic stylized art while also being clearly drawn and easy to follow visually.

Igual que el anterior, pero oh! Horror!!!, no lo terminan, queda ahí por si lo quieren retomar, cosa que no han hecho en ya tres años, malo.

Recopilatorio en tapa blanda sin sobrecubierta. Es el 2do volumen, continuación directa del vol anterior. Excelente historia y final. Ansío el siguiente volumen
