Great glider
My baby boy and I really like this swing. I've had my eye on this particular swing for a while, but then my son's father purchased a totally different swing from a brick and mortar store (thinking he was helping); my baby hated that swing! He screamed every time we put he in. Anywho, I talked a friend into looking at this swing for her future son, and she bought it, so every visit I made to her I put my baby in and he would be at ease every time. Needless to say, I returned the other swing and bought what I originally wanted... This swing. The gliding motion on this swing is very smooth and I usually set the speed at about 2. Sometimes I start at 3 then gradually decrease to 1. He's approximately 13lbs and it still glides with no problems.I love that the height of the seat can be adjusted. So he can sit up during alert and active times and recline during drowsy/cat nap times. The only problem I have with this swing is the music... It's just not baby friendly to me. It's not like white noise, it's like poor quality classical music... So we don't use that at all.So at the end, we are very pleased with this purchase... Oh and the color/theme is nice too.

Baby Loves, Loves, Loves it & So Does Anyone Who Sees It!
This glider has given us a lot of miles. We use it every day since it was put together and the baby loves it. Sometimes he sits there and plays with his toys on his lap other times he falls right asleep. I don't use the sound too much or the vibration modes, but the six different speeds come in handy. We use all the speeds dependent on what he's doing, sleeping or playing. One can also press the speed without pressing the timer and it continues on for as long as one wants (I don't think the directions describe this). We used the toys all the time until he began pulling them down all the time - which is the point, handy when he was younger and now a few months later, it works just to give him the teddy bears which he loves. We also learned you can adjust it to laying down position to sitting up position with one hand. We didn't realize this until the past month! Inclusively, if your baby has a blow out/accident, you can remove the entire pad or just the butt section rinse and throw them straight in the wash. We learned quickly now to add our our own disposable small bed pad to the bottom so we won't have to remove the whole thing next time he has a blow out. Everyone who visits us says that this is a very fancy glider and asks where we got it. I think if you have a baby that you find is fussy starting them with a swing like this since they are just a few months old gets them used to the motion and helps them fall asleep. Also helps you be hands free in short spurts to warm up bottles, do dishes, watch a little tv - just to get a break (it has belts/straps to keep baby secure). I highly recommend this swing!UPDATE: It is now June 4, 2015 and my baby now weighs 27lbs at 22 months. The swing is still working beautifully, though at times it stops when we initially turn it on, and we need to hold the button down or unplug it and start over. I think it might be due to his getting heavier. We use it every day for wind down time after dinner and at times in the morning when he has his bottle as we're getting ready for work before he goes to daycare. We like that we can either lay him down for rest or sit him straight up when we watch a movie. The shoulder straps still fit him perfectly to keep him secure. And he can sit to watch "A Bug's Life" or "Toy Story" with his little popcorn cup for long periods of time comfortably while it swings on level 1. We still recommend this swing wholeheartedly and if we would buy it again. We sense that he will be using the swing for at least another year if not more. LOVE IT!UPDATE: May 23, 2016 - our 2 1/2 year old is now 31 lbs and still uses it! We switch the handle up higher to sitting position which allows him to watch his movies. His legs are longer now, but it's still comfortable for him. If he is getting tired or sleeping we flip the back switch to the down position which allows him to lay back. We basically use it on level 1 or 2 and it works well. We anticipate that when he hits 35lbs or thereafter we may need other options, but for now he prefers this swing best.

Graco Glider vs Fisher Price Cradle n Swing
Edit 06/23/14:My daughter wasn't into this swing. She must have gotten used to the swaying of the fisher price swing and pretty much hated this Graco swing. I could get her to sit in it sometimes, but mostly she didn't like it. I even tried it a couple days ago (she's 8 months) and she still hates it. She's practically walking, so I didn't think she'd still enjoy a swing, but this was a waste of money because she just never liked it. Such a shame, since I like it much better than the fisher price one. It looks better, takes up less space and plugs in. I plan on keeping it and trying it with my next baby.Original review:This swing, so far, is awesome. I just put it together yesterday afternoon, so my daughter has only been using it the past two days. So far, it's doing it's job, and works much better than the other swing we have in our game room, which is a Fisher Price cradle n swing. The Fisher Price seems to be struggling to swing and support her weight, unless it's on one of the highest settings. She's only 7 weeks old, so that's a disappointment. She's a big baby, a little over 12 lbs. The Fisher Price swing did work with my oldest daughter until she was 4 months old, but she was a smaller baby.So far what I like about the swing:-Fairly easy to assemble, I managed in under an hour.-The gliding motion is fantastic, it doesn't seem to struggle with her weight, and the perfect setting for her is between speeds 3 and 4.-Takes up practically no space! The Fisher Price needs double the floor space.-White noise sounds are pretty good.-Colors are fantastic. I love the grey and yellow together, super cute. What I dislike:-The music is AWFUL. I can tolerate the songs on the Fisher Price swing, I can't even stand to listen to the ones on this swing. They're awful and the quality is awful as well. Luckily, I don't care much about this.-The motor makes a noise. It's not loud, and I've gotten used to it already, but still would prefer it to be silent.-The toy bar will not stay on! I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, or if I got a lemon toy bar, because the parts that are supposed to snap on to the bar are way too small and snap violently back off immediately. This isn't a big deal to me, because I don't care about the toy bar and my daughter doesn't seem to miss it.There was a couple of reviews that had issues with the swing gliding, and to fix it, they didn't tighten the screws all the way underneath the seat of the swing. My swing glides fine with the screws tightened all the way. I didn't tighten them a lot at first, and had to go back and tighten them because the swing was moving side to side and seemed to be unsteady. So you may not have an issue with the swing not gliding, I'd suggest calling Graco if you do.

One of the best gliding swings for babies
This is one of the best baby swings you could buy. Even Chicco doesn't make swings as good as Graco though Chicco makes better car booster seats and joggers etc.
