Let there be LIGHT!!!
First and foremost, you MUST have a steel case, or in the very least, the innards/frame of your case must be steel in order for the magnets to work properly. With that said, I was unprepared for the amount of light that these LED strips emit. I own a Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 ATX Cube Case - Steel Silver (CC-9011034-WLED) and I was getting pretty sad at looking at nothing but a void of darkness where otherwise my assortment of components would be. I hadn't considered wanting to really mod my PC to this point, I figured a working PC is a good one, but I came to this point where I wanted to try and see what doing a little bit of sprucing up to the old rig would do and figured lighting would be the best direction to go.As far as I know these are the only magnetic LED strips on the market, and that's exactly what I wanted, as I had no desire in wanting to use adhesive type applications and knew there had to be an easier way then lo and behold these things come along. This is my first use of any BitFenix products but I heard prior to this purchase that BitFenix are pretty much tops when it comes to LEDs so I figured I'd just go all in and see what they're all about. Well they came in shortly after ordering, I installed them, and holy crap my PC instantly turned into a lamp!I was so shocked by how much light they emit that I instantly turned off the lights of my room just to see how much illumination was really coming out and the light bled out into the hallway with enough visibility and ambient light to make me feel like I had installed a nightlight somewhere, except all that light was coming straight from my PC, some 20 feet away... these are LEDs you have to see to believe, not even videos of them do it justice to know how much light these strips really emit.Needless to say, I was and still am VERY impressed by this product. Sadly, I resorted to moving my 30cm LED strip to the upper most region of my case which ended up giving a much more majestic, downcast stage light presence sort of deal on my components, ultimately mellowing out the lights even more when I also fit the side view case panel and its borders contained more of the LED strip's awesome lighting. Not by much, but enough to keep it under control. Originally, I had the light strung up on the front end of the case next to my two 140mm fans, and that's where the most dramatic, awe inspiring amount of light was first witnessed. Coincidentally, I could (and will) buy another strip, and thanks to the modular application of this product I won't have to go messing around with more molex adapters or anything like that, and technically, if you can manage it, you can have various lengths of these strips strung up in your case from a single connection. That's exactly what I plan on doing, where I can keep the 30cm I have up top, but apply another 30cm LED strip on the front like I had before, because that was truly an amazing experience just from these lights alone. If you're looking specifically for magnetic LED strips to light up your PC, stop looking. You just found them. Even better, these strips come in 12cm, 30cm (this one), as well as an amazingly long 60cm variant. And I need to remind everyone that these strips are modular and can be connected to one another to your heart's desire of length.I do only have one con out of this whole deal, but it wasn't enough to deduct from the overall review here itself. In fact, it has nothing to do with the LED strips themselves. The con I'm admitting to is nothing more than the light coming off of them being so efficient that it brings out the flaws in my system itself, more specifically, DUST! As soon as the light came on I saw the shamefully, unacceptable film of dust which now leads me needing to invest in a static-free duster just to maintain the majesty of the beautiful light which shines within my computer.Ladies and gentlemen, these right here are some amazing, quality, LED strips.

Slightly overpriced
This is a very competent LED strip, and I do like it, but shortly afterwards I found the Deepcool RGB 350 which is better in almost every way and also cheaper. This particular LED strip was easy to install and had a very strong magnetic connection. Simply plug the connectors together and connect it to a molex from your power supply and you're ready to go. The green is nice and bright as well. Unfortunately, for $3.00 less, I then found the RGB 350s I mentioned before and that includes two magnetic LED strips that can be set to 16 different colors. I would recommend going for the Deepcool model, but these BitFenix ones are definitely no slouch either.

Great LEDs at a great price.
Great lights, very bright and has good color. My only gripe is that the magnet that is attaching to the adapter isn't very strong, so it can easily be ripped off of whatever metal piece you're attaching the LED's onto. Once that piece falls, the whole strip becomes weaker and can fall off with it. You should be fine if you won't be constantly pulling the cable in any way.Other than that, there's not much else to say. They work great and I haven't ran into any major issues. These are definitely worth the money.

... would be and if the red light would look good with my and how strong the magnets would be ...
Initially when I bought this product I was skeptical for the price on how well made it would be and if the red light would look good with my Corsair Air Series AF120 LED Quiet Edition High Airflow Fan Twin Pack - Red and how strong the magnets would be with my cheap budget Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-02 Mid Tower Gaming Case . To my surprise when receiving the package and opening it was the feel of quality of the led strip it feels like extreme quality plastic and it feel like it may be semi water proof I DO NOT test that idea. As for the color of light of my fans and the led strip it seems identical and there is no weird shading problems, as I feared initially also helps that the lights are very bright. Even with my cheap not full metal case I could easily stick the led strip to the top of my case. To power this you will need at least one free molex cable on your power supply they do provide an adapter for it I had no problems setting it up.

Good LED Strip, Minor complaints
Pros:PurpleGood magnet sticky backing, 4 pin connector for versatility, daisy chain-able.Power cord is fairly lengthy for smaller mATX and ATX cases.Cons:Molex power instead of SATANo 60cm optionIsnt as bright as Cable Mod Wide Beam LED strips.Overall a good product, and I dont regret buying it. Only reason I didnt get a cablemod one is because they dont come in purple!

Bright & low profile, just make sure to only let the cool people in
Oh boy, these babies are BRIGHT. Brighter than I expected, but that's a good thing. Plenty of placement options that'll ensure full case lighting. The strip is very low profile so keeping it and the LEDs out of direct eyesight is quite easy (trust me, you'll want to keep it out of direct eyesight). The connector could be a bit longer, but it reaches far enough in my 780T so I guess it's not going to be a problem for most people. The only con I can think of is the magnet: it's a bit weak. It works fine, but if there's any noticeable tension, it won't hold. So just make sure the connectors are comfortably loose.Regardless, this product works exactly as advertised, and is keeping my PC lit up in a sunny room, so it deserves a full 5/5. Definitely worth the money if this is what you're looking for.

Good build quality, nice and bright
Works as expected! The only thing i can say is, the quality is pretty good and provides nice bright LEDs to light up the computer case.Once you stick the magnetic LED strip in the computer case, it stays flat evenly, no bumps or bends. The only downside is, it is powered by molex connector, would have been nice if had sata connector cable connect to my sata splitter to reduce extra wiring. Other than that I still give 5 stars for the build quality :)
