The cover is very thin, the information was great. Add this, to other martial arts and it gives a better few of elbow and knee fighting

I would absolutely give a 6-star review to this book considering the fact that the content written in it is fantastic. The problem for me, as a person speaking English as a second language, is that, grammarly, the book wasn't on the top level, so it was difficult to focus on explanations when trying to figure out what was he trying to say in that particular sentence.Otherwise, I would absolutely recommend it, especially for the people just getting into Muay Thai world!Remember, though, you have to train hard, cause, otherwise, this book will not make any sense to you.Cheers!

I really enjoyed reading this book! I have probably ten books all about Muay Thai. Everyone of them has something special to offer. However some are technical to the point they feel like an app with not much personal touch. You can't help but get close to Stuart in this book. The book reads like you are one-on-one with a friend who has been there. It covers enough technical to set you on your way while sprinkling in some Thai history, tradition and spirit. It's probably the only Muay Thai book I have where I didn't want it to end. Hoping for a second book!

I haven't even bought the book and the guy's technique on the cover is so poor and the kick on the back looks kung fu. Yes, please judge this book by its cover.

Not about muay thai. The writers' illustrations show a poor technique. I showed it to a Muay Thai trainer from Thailand and he laughed, saying that the writer is not a good Thai boxer and advised me to throw it away. If you are looking for some traditional Muay Thai. Look for Muay Boran which is the traditional style of Muay Thai.

my Partner bought two books by this Author for Christmas, i was blown away by the detail, so just had to buy this book, again outstanding work and great detail to such a beautiful art. Even better i have just learnt that a second volume is soon to be published. I for one will have this book on order as soon it is published.

Brilliant well written book, for all, even if you dont train in muay thai and just have admiration of the art.
