These work the best of all brands
I am semi professional tiler and have tried many different levelers, the wedges the reusables other spin style. I go right back to these! They are easy to use no extra tools needed, just spin and move on. The Best part is when it comes time to remove they break clean 99% of the time. All other brands seem to be 50 - 70% break clean. That eats up lots of time and just plain WORK! So I am back purchasing spin doctors! 1 more note I saw a previous review that they were mad that these levelers lifted there tile to match the other tile...... guess what.... that is what a tile leveler does! Peace!

Works well - if available
Works great and has a better chance of a clean break than the wedge style. I only bought these because I had the Ridgid tops from Home Depot which these work with. But...I went to reorder and it was out of stock and so I had to go to wedge style. Not great.

Must have for DIYers
First time laying tile and we decided to lay a slate floor which is very uneven already. These lil spin doctors helped keep the joints level in spite of the different thickness and roughness of the tile. Going to use the system again doing our bathroom.

These DO NOT work with Vortex caps.
I thought I'd role the dice and order these even though I found nothing regarding their compatibility with Vortex caps. Unfortunately they DO NOT work, the threaded post is substantially larger.

Great alignment, problematic thinset embedding...
Purchased to help bridge the gap between my experience level and the desired finished product we were looking for—namely great alignment and no lippage. It did that, perfectly. The problem comes when you actually tighten the posts down with the spin doctor discs. Due to the shape of the base, it will actually pull the tiles up and away from the thinset bed. We had hit and miss luck with some tiles remaining affixed and others popping up. I’m sure it could be avoided with more care being given, but as a “even a novice can do it” product, it was a little frustrating.

Easy to use and serves two purposes
Very pleased with how easy Spin Doctor was to use. Their system allowed me to simultaneously correctly space and level the tiles. Will continue using Spin Doctor on future tile jobs.
