Coloring Books for Grown Ups: Fashion Coloring Book Paperback – December 4, 2014

Deceiving cover. There are only a few pages with decent art on them.More than a few have really horrifying faces,probably drawn by someone who draws scary cartoons for a hobby.It seems that there are at least three different artists contributing to this horrible book. No kidding this book has very few pages you would want to color. I gave the entire book to my granddaughter .She didn't want it. I would not recommend that you purchase this book.

I was pleasantly surprised when this color book arrived. As a rule I avoid fashion color books because all I had seen were historical, Victorian, etc, & they didn't appeal at all. Now, I'm sure there are other fashion color books out there similar to this one, I just haven't been looking for them. I loved this one at first glance. The fashion is more current, they included pictures of girls wearing glasses ( My 10 yr old granddaughter is living for the day she can have contacts), and a lg variety of garments. I haven't colored in it yet, but I see colored pencils for this one, oil based & wax both, & some gel pens for the glam & bling factor. I would recommend this book to children around the age of 9-10 & up, & adults as well. It's a great addition to my piles of color books.

I wish I could have seen inside before purchasing because I was expecting all kinds of fashion, not just one eighties pantsuit and a bunch of Forever 21 fashion plates. The illustrations are pretty wonky too. That being said based on the girls inside the book I think this would be great for an elementary school age girl with glasses.

Some of the drawings are very poor and look like a child sketched them.
