Straight forward product. Works great.
This is one of those products that either works like expected it doesn't. This one does. Production quality is great for each one that I've used. No complaints whatsoever. Will buy again if I need more.

Insulators
These worked well. I also used medicine bottles with screw on lids. I screwed the lids on to the post, then screwed the bottles on to the lids. After that wrapped the wire around the bottles where the lids joined the bottles. It work well.

Versatile, but not the sturdiest.
Super easy to install and great to have lying around to throw up some temporary fencing. I love them when I use them with electrified rope, but they don’t hold up well to the tension required for electric wire. Probably broke atleast 4 trying to tighten the wire.

Buy these with confidence, work great!
I wanted to wait a few months before I wrote this review and now after 4 months of use... I can comfortably say they work great. We have 2 acres and use an electric fence to keep the dogs from digging under the fence. What I did was use treated 2x2" stakes hammered into the ground and then drill pilot holes for each post. Then I just screwed these right in. I've bumped them with the rubber blade guard to the riding mower, hit them with weedeater and dogs have "tested" the wires a few times and they are holding up great. I like these and would use them again no question about it.

Great concept, but a little sturdier would be great
The concept is great: Screw-in insulators are *way* better than nail-in. Most of the trees in my area are soft pine or sweet gum, so I often don't even have to bother with a pilot hole... but I keep a drill with me for the occasional oak or walnut. This is my first purchase of this particular brand and I've already had a couple of insulators snap off in my hand as I'm screwing them in. Maybe just a couple of bad apples... we'll see.

These Do Just What They Should
These are easy to install in wood. Drill a hole first, but they screw in and last. I used these with 1/8" polyrope for my electric fence, and they work perfectly.
