Let me tell you this mine broke and I drove around with broken ones for over a month and I cannot deal with the noise anymore my mechanic gave me a price of these bad boys that was over my budget so I researched came on Amazon found these almost 70 to 80% cheaper and let me tell you this these bad boys saved me a lot of money and saved my life I highly recommend

Gave my car way to much positive camber front end sits much higher then the rear. Took them a part and the springs are a full 3 inches taller then the stock spring.

Installed 11 months ago and now they are noisy "rattling" going over even small bumps in the road. Original ones lasted 16 years, thought these would hold up at least a few years. Can't even find out about a warranty. Update on 07/22 found passenger side strut worn out really bad, top bushing worn, shock shaft moving all over and that’s causing the wheels to wobble badly. Needs to be replaced already and it’s just over a year old, save your money and buy OEM struts.

I'm somewhat reluctant to write this, because others have found these struts to be fine. First off, although these are label "OEM", they are definitely not genuine Honda - these are made in China. But here's the real problem. I installed these struts on my 2003 Honda Element EX and the installation was easy. I then took it for a quick test drive and found the alignment camber was so far off that the tires left marks on the driveway and road - the car looked like one of the "low riders" you see on the streets. I drove back home and pulled off one of the new struts and compared it to the original. If you look at the attached photo, the most obvious difference is the distance of the tie rod arm to the spring mount. The spring length is also different and the shock absorber is different. Whatever the differences are, it made the car impossible to align. Sadly, I had to return them to amazon and my solution was to buy some new strut mounts and install them on the old struts. Fortunately the car parts store owner had a strut spring compressor which made the job easy. I reinstalled the old struts with the new mounts and the car rides like a dream. Like usual, it was simple to return the struts to amazon for a refund, but I'm hoping others don't have the problem I did.

I switched out the both front struts in less that two hours then took it down to the local aliment shop. This fixed the bouncing and squeaking in the front of the Honda and it stopped burning out the tires! Saved a few hundred bucks!
