Many friends recommended powerpro and powerpro super 8 slick
Many friends recommended powerpro and powerpro super 8 slick. I own many line but the most common about powerpro was, the line often snapped when a large fish hit. Powerpro also snapped easy if you have a fish on the line and the line ran into a rock. I do not have these problem with suffix.

Unimpressed
Needed some new line, saw reviews here and on forums raving about this brand. I usually go with j-braid grand. I'm not happy with this 832. I use several poles depending on what I'm targeting. Break them down and store in my truck between fishing spots. Pulled one out and the line looked cut, clean break. Nothing around could have cut it so no idea, never had this happen before. This was literally the first time i had used these teo rods since installing the new line. Inspected the second rod and noticed quite a bit of abrasion. The j-braid that has seen MUCH more use still looks new. Maybe I got a bad roll, but from this experience I have to say j-braid grand is way more abrasion resistant. The color is cool, price was ok, i just can't trust it.
