My wIfe needs a support can for walking and the white cane identifies her as a person with poor eyesight. She is nearing total blindness and the "white cane" coloring indicates to people that she may need assistance from time to time, especially if she is in an unfamiliar environment. The handle is comfortable and the handle grip is also sturdy. I would recommend this cane for anyone who needs a good support cane and identification as a person who is blind or sight impaired.

I purchased this came for myself for the logical reason. It's lightweight which is good it seems to be sturdy enough when I use it and I do like it. But I didn't realize when I purchased this came, has the button to raise it up and down. That's okay until you need do move it in between one of those and you can't do that. But it's still a nice visually impaired walking cane.

My mom now uses this cane as her favorite. We have adjusted the height a few times as she decides that she wants distance to obstacles as more important at one moment, and then decides that she would like a bit more support at others. Impossible to have both this cane and the long cane for the blind at the same time. She is more mobile with it, and that is good.

For us with limited or no vision this shortened version of our long stick is very comfortable and serviceable.

I bought this for my father-in-law, who is blind and needs the stability of a cane to walk as well. This is PERFECT. He can't use the standard white/red cane for the blind because he needs the heavy duty cane and it's always a struggle when he goes out because people don't know he is blind and don't realize he can't see them or what is in front of him. This cane gives other people a "head's up" that he is sight-impaired and also gives him the stability to walk that he needs. He loves this and my mother-in-law is thrilled as well because it makes it so much easier for her to take him out and not have the hassle of explaining to everyone he can't see.

I bought this for my elderly father. He can see only light and basic shapes but wanted a cane more like a normal cane. He is especially happy with this because it has the curved handle that he is used to.
