Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adult Raphael and Accessories Costume

Nice costume overall. Elbow and knee pads a bit small.

I have a husky 9 year old who wears youth XL-Adult Medium. So finding ANY clothes has always been a challenge. Especially when it comes to Halloween costumes. They tend to run small or a little snug. I had ordered him a different costume that was too small and had to return it. So finding something in a crunch was crucial!That being said, this one is of course a tad larger than needed in the arms and leg length.. it’s definitely ment for an adult. BUT!! I have an excited kid who will be able to be his favorite character! (And he will be able to wear comfy clothes under in case it turns cooler weather).We’ve looked for two years for a Raphael costume and this one came in the nick of time!!It is the Nickelodeon brand! The quality is as one would think. It’s the thin, cheap material, held together with Velcro. The arm and knee straps are held on with 4 small straps of elastic and velcro. I’ll have to pin or stitch it to the costume to get it to stay. But again, It’s ment for an adult and he’s a kid. So I’m perfectly okay with it!The shell is a good size, there is a slit cut into the inside so you can fill it with newspaper, tissue paper, or cotton to give the shell the 3D look and feel, which is nice! But again, it’s held on with Velcro, so try not to make it too heavy.All in all, I’m happy with it and he’s ecstatic. And that’s ALL that matters. He and his brother get to be Ninja Turtles together! Makes this Mama and Daddy who grew up on the original TMNT super happy!

The costume would've been awesome if I was over 6 foot. The costume was a bit large and loose. Probably made for the above average taller males out there.

I bought this outfit thinking I would be able to actually be a ninja turtle. I was completely wrong. I immediately went into the sewers and was OUTCAST by the other mutant turtles. I have also since put on 24 lbs. due to excessive consumption of pizza. DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE A REAL NINJA TURTLE! YOU NEED TO ACTUALLY GET DOUSED WITH TOXIC MATERIAL!In all honesty I bought this for a mud run and completely destroyed it. Surprisingly, it held up incredibly well and still have it even post apocalypse. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a quick and easy outfit.

The knee pads and elbow pads aren’t anything like the picture.

We purchased four of these suits for Halloween this year. The product came as expected, the pictures are spot on. Stuffing the shell was a bit strange as you have to find the right material to put in it. The best option for us was plastic bags, anything heavier made the shell come off the Velcro.The four of us vary from 5'9" to 6'2" and 160-200 lbs. The suit only fit the 5'9" 160lb person. 6'2" is too tall (rides quite a bit in the midsection) and 200lbs is definitely too much. If I were to order again, we'd get three of the extra large sized suits.Another con is that the Velcro for the turtle shell didn't line up great. The pieces could have been longer and have more surface area to hold the shell in place.Overall, the suits were as expected for a costume. We got rave reviews for them and had a great night! They price paid was a great value in comparison to what you'd get at a Halloween store, so we were pleased with that.
