I am not fun of espresso coffee ,l prefer greek coffee . The positive comments here made me to buy and try these beans hoping that l can use them for greek coffee as well. I didnt regret it ! They were right ! Its an amazing coffee ,amazing taste . You cant make the best greek coffee which is normal but still l loved it ! And for sure you have the best espresso cofffee ! The taste is amazing , creamy and strong without feeling any acid ,bitter notes or oil . It sits perfect into your stomach making you want to drink more . THE BEST for sure !

I visited Lisbon Portugal for 2 weeks, drinking local espresso. Unless you visit an American coffee shop, you won't find brewed coffee. The drinks are all some form of espresso.This is where I discovered this coffee. I noticed it seemed to be the brand locals prefer, because most of the cafes used it.Yes, it takes awhile to get here from Portugal. Sometimes a month will pass before it arrives, but the wait is well worth it. This coffee tastes exactly like the espresso I had every day in Lisbon.It's a strong, dark roast coffee with a smooth body, and is one of the oldest and most popular roasts in Portugal. It's best for espresso, but with the right ratio of water to ground coffee it it can be used for brewed coffee. Instead of brewed coffee, I recommend making an Americano.

I ordered three packages of this delicious Portuguese coffee, hoping it would be as good as some of the house brew in Sintra. This is very good coffee--both rich and smooth, no bitter taste. I highly recommend. Please be aware, shipping can take a while. But good things come to those who wait. Francisco was responsive to my concerns that the shipment may have gone awry and quickly offered to replace it. However, arrive it did! We will be enjoying this for a while. Brings back wonderful memories of our time in Portugal.

I'm a coffee snob and quite proud of it. My husband bought this for me, because my Grandma was from Portugal. I am hooked. While I do try others, this is my day-to-day brew.

I want to confirm that description is extremely accurate: this is a full-bodied, creamy and strong coffee.Unlike some other full-bodied coffees, it has low acidity and bitterness. I used French Press to prepare it. It came out very strong. I would recommend it to people who like strong pure coffee taste.

Tasted old and flavorless

Amazing flavor from these beans. My son in law got me some of this when he was stationed abroad. Amazon was the only place I could find it. Shipping takes a bit, but it’s worth it.
