Lots of stamps for the price
This is a review for the 8pc rubber stamp moon set. This is a great deal for the price. I considered giving it less stars for some of the issues I have with it, but the issues are kind of minor. The negatives are: there is some adhesive that you can feel using the stamps that came out where the rubber adheres to the wood block. The other thing to note is that the rubber stamps are not cut down to the just the image. This means that you will likely ink up the corner areas and possibly get unwanted ink from the corners of the rubber stamps. But, that can be fixed by cutting away those areas on your own. The large moon stamps (there are two) have this issue the most and they are kind of hard to stamp with like most large size stamps on blocks, especially because it isn't cushioned, so accidentally printing the corners is highly likely with the larger ones. But, the designs are really nice, they stamp well and for the price they are definitely a good buy. They are mounted on beechwood blocks that appears to be stained. They are fairly lightweight and easy to use.

Beautiful stamps!
Just got these delivered today and had to immediately test them out. I used Kamiterior paper for fountain pens and two of my favorite brands of ink pads. You'll see from the photos I've included that they stamp out a lot clearer and sharper with VersaFine Clair pigment ink when compared to Shachihata. Both ink pads are oil based. I'll be testing them out with other ink pads but so far I am loving these stamps.Keep in mind that how crisp the image stamps depends on the ink pad (and paper) you use.My only irk is that the rubber stamp image is not aligned with the stamp per se so you have to look and make sure you have it in the desired position. But it's not a big deal for me. These stamps will get a lot of use from me!

Quarter Size Moons!
For the most part, I really like these stamps. Shipping was quick & easy. They transfer nicely. Easy to clean. They were a little smaller than I was expecting but still work for the project I'm working on. My only negative would be that the actual stamp does NOT line up with the outline on top, so you really have to watch which way the stamp is facing. Other than that, I really like them. Detail is great!

Lovely stamps
I love love these and was hoping to use them in my clay work. Sadly they are not quite textured enough for that. I'm sure I'll find another use for them down the road.

Well made and easy to use
Perfect size for what I'm using them for. They're about the size of a quarter with a wooden base. We'll designed and easy to use.

Major quality issues on the bigger stamps
I used Versa Claire in Twilight to sample each stamp in this set. One of the big moon stamps had an uneven cushion with a bump near the top. It will be impossible to evenly apply ink from a pad and make a complete stamped image, with a defect that major. The other big moon stamp as well as the medium moon stamp both have uneven molding on the "rubber" (more like cheap plastic), so that it leaves patchy areas where the ink does not come into contact with the paper and makes incomplete stamped images. Lastly, the moon phases stamp also has a defect in molding on the bottom edge where the surface images that come into contact with the paper are all slanted and not flat, so that you have to make an extra effort to ink them before applying extra pressure on the stamps to get all the images to make a complete impression. This stamp having tiny images on it makes it easier to compensate for the defect vs the big defective moon stamps that have larger solid areas. As mentioned, the rubber is not rubber at all, but very thin, molded plastic. The cushion is very thin. I also find that, on these China rubber stamps, the cushion often lifts up from the wood block at the corners. All of this makes me concerned for the longevity of the stamp overall, concerning both the integrity of the adhesion and its capability to create complete, crisp impressions in the long term.I do love all the images represented in this set. The set price is a great deal vs individual prices for each stamp, but with the quality issues, you do get what you pay for. I would even say you are paying too much. I requested a replacement to see if I merely got a bad batch. Will report back if the replacement is adequate.
