These work great! They don't last as long as the higher end inserts but if you're using them on a manual lathe they last a while. They don't like interrupted cut well but neither does a lot of other carbide. Will definitely buy again.

These carbide inserts arrived promptly and have worked well in my turning tools. I have turned both brass and carbon steel and the final finish is very good.

Thirty inserts are not worth a Damm without the holder to put them in unbelievable

I am giving three stars because the ad was not very clear that the bits do not come with a bar to use them with you have to supply that however the quality of the bits themselves appears to be excellent however if you do not already have a bar or have a milling machine to make the bars they're not for you I wouldn't know. The carbide on these is nice and thick and the chip breaker relief looks great nice crisp angles so as far as the bits themselves I would go those five stars it's really the ad was hard to understand that you were not getting bars to use the bits in
