The short of it, is that the watch is better than it should be for the price.It's especially suited to those needing a stylish watch in a popular face size for modest cost, those who aren't sure they can trust themselves to have nice things, and would make a good first watch for a high school or college student.Mine is an automatic wind, with crown wind, and four subdials and date.The subdials all function as the should, the day indicator advances after midnight.It's not a flaw, but I didn't expect it, so heads up.After about a day, the watch stops running if put away.It starts nearly immediately when you put it back on.Figure a twenty hour reserve, and luxuriate in the fact it's not quartz.The day indicator, month indicator, and a.m./p.m. indicator I found especially useful, having not had a watch like this before.The leather band is nice.The second strap retaining loop broke on the seam because I was messing with the watch too much.It's any easy fix and I blame myself.The second hand doesn't sweep, but it ticks more than once a second so there was effort put into the design of the movement to push it in a refined direction.When setting the date, turning the crown counter-clockwise advances the number, clockwise does nothing.Again, heads up, but nothing wrong.I dropped the watch on a hardwood floor and it still works and nothing chipped or broke.Your luck might be different, but I was happy about that.The profile of the watch is kind of a 'handburger,' which is my super clever way to say that they didn't do anything to graduate or slope the watch case from your wrist to the bezel.I think the connoisseurs would pick on that and a thousand other things.I'm mentioning it because it's obvious you're wearing a watch when you have it on, but that's kind of the current trend.It's not a criticism because the entry price point on an homage watch with these features is like $250.I didn't test it for accuracy.I don't need to synchronize for train departures or anything.I like the way the watch looks and functions.I like to dress like an adult from time to time, and this lets the people around me know I put some effort in.I'm looking at it to know I have to put money in the meter or that I should wrap up my evening in 15.There are watches with more status, awards, .01% better accuracy, more opulent materials, richer tradition, etc., or you can save a minimum of 80% if you have two twenties hanging out of your pocket.

One more purchased on November 30th, this time I will see how this one goes, I will update after a couple of months, should arrive within the next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I really hope it works out, because I really like it, the style, weight and especially the movement. Updated April 1st 2019, stopped working for the second time, it actually stopped the second month of use and two weeks ago it stopped, and I can not get it to work this time, apparently it's past the warranty period figures the company refuses to answer any of my requests, therefore the one star review. So far it's holding up, very nice, looks great and has heafty weight to it and keeps perfect time, I also purchased two of these, one black and this one the black one sold before I had a chance to even check it out, seriously, I just put it on and less than a few minutes, my real estate agent bought it and yes, for a heafty profit, I highly recommend this Watch, awesome value, nice weight and most of all, well built. Re~review, after a brief freak out moment, this Watch stopped working and would not do anything, I was about to ship it back, it started to work again, it was wound up, I even shook the crap out of it, as I was preparing to place it back in the box, it started to work again, anyways it has not lost a beat since, I'm keeping it and I'm in the process of getting several more of these, this one, so far is even water proof, highly still recommend it. Great looking and of course I plan on getting several more.

So far so good. Looks like its suppose to. Followed instructions on winding it up and setting the date like it says you must do before you start to use it. Its surprisingly tough being I wear it for work mainly. I've hit it on many edges and or corners and havent put a scratch on it yet. Again so far so good

Stoped working after 2 weeks and I followed the instructions to the letter. Disappointed but the watch looks amazing but doesn’t help if it doesn’t work.

This watch has a very clear and clean look to it, the face of the watch catches your eyes; has a plain but precise look that you might find in a more expensive time piece.

The design and time displays are very nice clearly easy to read but it heard to see day and date as it too small for me to read

I love this watch. Im not a fan of constantly looking at my phone for the time. I've been kayaking with mine and have submerged our a few times and have had no issues out of it and it's s surprisingly well built..

It’s great quality for the price. The face is beautiful and the glass is thick. It’s got a nice weight to it. My husband is obsessed with automatic watches but most are out of our price range. I bought this for him for father’s day and he’s thrilled with it.
