It Started at Sunset Cottage

A really great read. Lots of laugh out loud moments and just what you need to cheer up on a full day. Loved all of it.

I just live how Bella writes. It seems so batural and yet creates scenes in my head. The characters make me laugh and sigh, and allow me to imagine myself in that world. Perfect!

A wonderful story that I didn't want to end. The characters are so well depicted that I feel as though I've known them for a long time. Many laugh-out-loud moments. I could almost see it as a TV series.

Having had this book on my Kindle for months upon months I've finally read it and boy do I wish I'd have read it sooner, it was brilliant, the first book in years to have me turning the pages into the early hours.Other than my initial uncertainty of how the characters knew each other, I would have liked to have their relationships made clear a tad earlier, I feel that this book is maybe a step up from the usual chick lit that I read in between the more serious books (by serious think Gone Girl, nothing too tasking). By a step up I mean that the characters were very real, the book wasn't a series of stupid decisions which someone with 30yrs life experience and a successful career would hopefully never make. Also their lives weren't all rosy and getting the perfect guy wasn't the only goal. Obviously relationships and romance were a part of the story.I fell in love with all of the characters and both storylines almost equally, Kate's story had me slightly more hooked.It was a funny, well thought out, brilliant book. Well done Bella!The only bad thing I can think of is that there is no follow up. If not a sequel then a short story for Christmas would be great. I'd love to read more about Kate's life after the epilogue.(I am well aware that I've rambled in this review, I couldn't help it, I enjoyed the story so much!)

Well written fun read, interesting characters and plot, a nice mix of backgrounds and situations. I really enjoyed it and will read more by this author.
