Great 5 pin lock
Most Master locks seem to be only 4 pin locks. This one is a 5 pin lock for a great price.

Bulky and moving parts not moving freely
The latch does not move freely and you must futz to get it close.Overall does not have the feel of quality.I prefer the MasterLock which is much better quality.

Excellent purchase
Heavy and of high quality. Reviewed many locks including the big name brands. For $10.00 I feel I made a great purchase. I use to lock my bike to my bike rack via a wire looped on each end cable. I know that if some one wants to steal your bikes the likely and easiest rout will be to cut the cable and not the lock. Purchase the thickest cable you can find and that might be a helpful deterrent. For my purpose and the cost this is perfect.

Great picking practice
Before I start, I did not get this lock to actually use. I wouldn’t lock my lunchbox with this. I actually got it for locksport practice. With a $5 tool, I can open this lock faster than you can say the name of it. The core however actually isn’t bad and gave me a ton of trouble when I was trying to pick it open. If it wasn’t for that unshielded keyway, this would actually be a pretty formidable lock.

There’s a lock bypass vulnerability for this lock, but it’s a sturdy, rugged lock
I cannot pick this lock. I’ve bought several locks that cost significantly more than this that are filled with security pins that I can pick open. This lock is big, beefy, and I have never been able to pick it open. There’s a bypass that can be used to open this lock, and I have used that vulnerability to open it, but I would still trust this lock over any of the other locks I’ve purchased in this price point to secure my valuables.This lock has taken a lot of abuse and it still locks and unlocks easily with the key every time and still resists any attempt I’ve made to pick, comb, rake or shim it open.

Too big for school/gym lockers
This huge honkin' lock will not fit a locker. It's an excellent lock but it's just way too much for my needs for the time being. Was like trying to swat a fly with a sledgehammer
