And the taste is just so gentle and lovely. This honey does everything good for a cup or a mug of tea, without ever over-powering the taste and fragrance of the tea.I chose this chestnut honey, from lists of excellent Italian Chestnut Honeys, because the description made so clear the careful, thoughtful, and respectful practices of the provider. A bit expensive...yes. Also...very much worth a bit of extra expense. I will purchase again, to have this honey available for guests.

Though "chestnut honey" is sort of an "acquired" taste. Many others also available from this incredible isle and all their caring beekeepers. Highly recommend.Grazie!

This is a delicious chestnut honey. It is smooth and rich, with fine chestnut flavor. It is delicious on toast and croissants, and it permeates tea with a subtle chestnut flavor. I heartily recommend this honey.

This is a wonderful, distinctively floral honey. Because it's not generic, you can't use it whenever "honey" is required--it has a specific flavor. Really a high-quality product; excellent.
