Definitely a higher priced item. You can get the same thing from a dollar store. But for the delivery to my house it’s worth spending a few extra dollars!

I have a 20 pound terrier mix and I use this product for when she goes outside to potty. I don't leave her on it other than just for her to do her business, so I haven't tested its limits. For my dog this product is great. She hasn't pulled it out of the ground when she tries to walk out of the parameter of the chord so it's sturdy enough for at least some mild resistance. She has never chewed on the chord or pulled excessively on it, so I can't really say whether or not it would work for a dog that is on it more often than my dog is or how it would work for a larger dog. I've had it about 2 months and it works great so far and has shown no signs of damage thus far.

I HATE having to put one of my dogs on a leash but he left us no choice. We rent an old farmhouse and are surrounded by working farms (crops, cattle, and chickens) and our Joey dog consistently found ways to escape the fenced yard and find random snacks in the cow fields, but the chicken co-op, and along the crops, which were bait to keep other critters out even if we were out with him. This is easily moveable and gives him a long enough leeway that he is still free to run and do his business without getting into trouble/eating something that requires another emergency trip to the vet.Hopefully we are able to retrain him to stay in the yard and he won’t need this at home anymore and with it’s portability it can just be used for camping trips.

This is super sturdy, easy to use in both sand and in dirt at a campsite. Only negative to me is that because it’s so long, by dog was able to wander really far and get themselves tangled around things. I had to wrap and try to tie it to itself, which is a bit hard since it’s a metal cord. Otherwise, great for letting your dog wander while keeping them within a perimeter

Great product! We are able to sit outside with our German Shepard/Husky without a fence together.

The stake portion could be longer. I have a 30 lb puppy and she can work it loose. The quality is very good.

I was afraid my second dog would just rip this out of the ground. But so far it’s kept him tethered in the yard. We’ve all enjoyed having him out there with us without worrying he’s going to run off. Problem solved.
