Great value, easy to assemble, materials look good. Fácil de armar y a buen precio
It was super easy to put together. The cabinet is composed of four panels with pre drill holes for the six screws on each side. The rack ears are attached by two screws to each side panel.

Saves time vs building your own
Sure you could build your own, but I got a nice deal on this scratch & dent from Amazon Warehouse and the scratch was so minor I barely noticed it. Everything is very solid on mine, zero issues. The rack is set in a bit to protect the knobs should the whole thing fall face down. The units mount nearly flush inside, but there is a little left for ventilation. I didn’t try it (not would recommend) but I imagine it could hold my weight OK standing on it to give you an idea of the heavy build quality.

Cheap and poorly made
No assembly instructions were included. Pressboard was disintegrating around pre drilled holes. Plastic feet fall out of the mounting holes. Unit looks horrible

Basic, easy sturdy. Pre drilled caster holes.
I was skeptical due to other reviews but I am pleased this worked out for me. It's basic laminated particle board & a good weight without being too heavy or light. Gator packaged this well, making sure all pieces were secure & separated so if yours arrives jacked it's not the manufacturers fault. All the panels were in good shape & all the pieces for assemble were included. There were no instructions but with little thought it was very easy to figure out. It went together very well & it includes screw caps to hide the external screws on the sides of the rack. It came with pre-drilled caster holes (square pattern) on the bottom. The casters I used have a rectangular plate but I was able to use 2 of the pre-drilled holes for each and it was easy to install the others with small self tapping screws that came with the casters I used. It's pretty solid, especially when the gear is racked. With all that, I do feel that the price should be closer to $80 instead of the $150 I paid for the 12U. So far it's been good for my situation & I really like that it's not too bulky.

Great studio rack for a desk or home lab
Easy to assemble, well made. Can hold 4U without any issue - you can do any combo up to 4U total. Great for home lab use as well.

Okay, but fell short for my needs.
Pros: Less expensive than fancier options. Reasonably strong.Pro and Con: Fairly heavy.Cons: A few small chips, blemishes, and cosmetic defects here and there. Rack rails are set back too far for my application. (I have a vintage 1960 Crown open reel audio tape machine; the tape reels won't clear the edges of this rack. So I either need to remove the rails, drill new mounting holes, and re-install the rails, or get a different rack.) Shipped broken down as flat boards. Assembly required. No assembly instructions, although it's pretty obvious what you need to do. Material is ⅝ inch coarse particle board with black vinyl veneer. Veneer is a bit loose in some places. Joinery is butt joints with large exposed screws directly into the particle board. This is basically exactly the same construction as inexpensive furniture (e.g. cheap bookcases, desks, etc.) that you must assemble yourself.Bottom line: Good, no-frills option for many situations. But missed the mark for my particular needs.

Works great
Works great. Very easy to build. Good quality. I bought separate casters to attach to the pre drilled holes
