Ross-Simons Sterling Sea Life Bracelet

I love this bracelet. It's easy to put on by yourself, the edges are smooth and do not catch on clothing. Very well made with heavier metal.

This was a Christmas present that I had put on my wish list. When I opened the gift on Christmas Day I was disappointed that the bracelet didn't look like sterling silver. I've been very busy and finally had some time to try cleaning it yesterday and it made no difference. I won't wear it. It just does not look nice at all.

I had bought a similar looking "guaranteed for life" bracelet on a cruise many years ago. The clasp got really tarnished and some of the forms lost color. I decided it was time to replace it with a sterling silver one. Since I have other lovely items from Ross & Simmons I purchased this one. I live in Florida so of course love the dolphin and shell theme. This bracelet looks lovely. I really needed a 6 1/2" that was not offered so I may need to have a shell removed. The different textures are so nice and the links seem pretty sturdy. I wish it were a little heavier but it is a very pretty bracelet.

I'd normally not buy jewelry online but I did not know what else to get this person and it was on her wishlist. I thought it looked a little flimsy, some people might call it delicate. I bought it for someone best described as quite mature age wise, but I would have thought it would be a more suitable present for a girl in her teens. It was accepted politely but I have no idea what the recipient really thought about it. I did tell her that I would not be upset if she wanted to exchange it but again, no comment, just a polite smile.

I love this bracelet! If you live in a tropical area or not this bracelet is beautiful. I took it out of the box and put it on. It looks great with my other silver jewelry.
