Givi A660 Airstar Windshield Universal Tinted

Perfect windscreen for my EsseEsse9. Before it was installed, my helmet would get buffetted and my jacket would flap in the wind, although this looks like minimal coverage, it is highly effective for highway speeds and looks really nice too! I used the small part of the tapered handle bars and added a piece of cut foam between the windshield and instrument cluster to give it extra stability.

The instructions are in Italian and one of the lock bolts was in backwards hence the loss of one starThe screen looks great on my Royal Enfield INT 650 (looks matter).There is a 5 inch stream of turbulent air off the top of the screen that hits my upper chest and neck. This is not at all uncomfortable or bothersome.My helmet is then in free air (what a cool term) with no buffeting. Riders less then 6 feet tall would have their helmets directly in the turbulent air.The suggested upper speed limit is 170km/hour (77 mph) according to a warning flyer in the box.I find no problems at that speed.This is not a hide from the wind an smoke a cigarette while going down the highway type windshield. For me it allows highway speeds with less fatigue and does not ruin the looks of my bike ( looks matter).

Looks great, fits great, works great. Took a bit of adjustment to minimize the buffeting, but once I had it dialed in it's pretty quiet. I put thousands of miles on with it and it has held up well in all manner of conditions and roads.

The mounting hardware for the windshield leaves a bit to be desired. It's a lot of plastic junk and I needed to hacksaw the bars so they didn't scratch up my tank but the windshield is a life saver on colder days and it's pretty easy to pop it off when you want to ride naked.

2004 SPORTSTR. FITS PERFECT. EASY TO ADJUST, MOUNT AND REMOVE LEAVING CLAMPS ON HANDLEBAR. I MADE SMALL DOTS OF SILVER AND BLACK MARKER AT JOINTS AND ON STEEL BARS SO REMOUNTING AFTER ADJUSTING FIRST TIME IS A BREEZE. VERY GOOD AT MANAGING WIND BLAST AND NOISE. DESIGN, MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION IS VERY GOOD.
