Marked Region B, But All Disks play in Region A US Sony Disk Player.
Bluray Box case says Region B. 1st/2nd movie cases read Region A/B. 3rd/4th movie cases read Region B. I tried all movies in my Region A Sony Player and they all work perfectly! Awesome! No complaints!

Incredible box set for fans of 80s horror franchises that plays on U.S. players!!
The House franchise has always had a special place in my heart. My father rented the first film on VHS in 1995 when I was in 6th grade and I fell in love with its unique mixture of horror and humor. Not long after, I was shocked to find House II for sale at a department store for 8.99 which I saved my allowance up for. Imagine my surprise when a new video store opened up and they had House IV for rent, which then put me on the impossible task of hunting down the non-existent House III and it wasn’t until a movie review book I had by John Stanley that pointed me in the direction of a film called The Horror Show, which what House III was titled in the United States. This was the days before the internet so information of alternate oversea titles for films was impossible to find.Soon came the dawn of DVD and I quickly picked up the Anchor Bay releases of parts I & II and patiently waited for the rest. I picked up a Hong Kong import release of House III/The Horror Show but the quality was dreadful, equal to a VCD. Eventually The Horror Show got a Blu-ray/DVD combo release by Scream Factory but House IV never made it to disc in the states.Well, patience paid off as Arrow Video announced a box set for the U.K. featuring all 4 house films and a smaller box set in the U.S. that only had the first two. Since I had an all-region player, I picked up the U.K. set and it is a thing of beauty. I didn’t splurge on the limited edition, which came with a book, but settled for a regular edition with no book, but it’s still a site to behold. All four films come in separate cases with newly commissioned, matching artwork with original poster artwork on the reverse sleeves (which is good because the original poster artwork for House 1 & 2 are iconic for horror fans). All four cases come housed in a high quality, sturdy box. All special features from the Anchor Bay releases are ported over and all four films have a commentary track and making-of featurette.I only have two very miniscule quibbles. The Horror Show has both the uncut European version with more violence and the edited R-Rated U.S. Theatrical version, but the European version still has “The Horror Show” title card in the opening credits. I’m a sequel enthusiast and was a little disappointed the uncut version they obtained didn’t have the House III: The Horror Show title card which was present on the awful Hong Kong DVD I bought in the earl 2000s. The reverse artwork for House 1-3 has the iconic posters which feature the decomposing disembodied hand, but the poster artwork they used for part 4 has a woman draped in shadows looking out a window instead of the New Line home video poster with the amputated hand holding up four fingers or an alternate Euro poster that had the classic rotting hand holding a dangling set of keys. Would have been nice to have a matching set of reverse cover art with the hand but again these are just minor quibbles for an overall perfect set.If you are putting off this set because you don’t have an all-region player, well I have good news to tell you as ALL the films are Region A and B despite what the box artwork says and play on all U.S. players. The artwork for parts I & II says region A & B and the artwork for III & IV say Region B, so colored me surprised when I stuck the disc in for House III and it automatically played without having to switch my player to Region B. Curiosity got the best of me and I stuck it in my regular Region A player and wah-la, it played! Either the pressing plant or a mistake must have been made Arrow, but it’s an error to the benefits the fans in the states. Read other reviews, I’m not the only one to confirm this.If you have a soft spot for 80s/early 90s loosely connected horror franchises like me (also see Curse Tetralogy, Silent Night Deadly Night Pentalogy, Beyond the Door Trilogy, etc), then do yourself a favor and pick this set up today. You won’t be disappointed.

Fun Collection of Horror/Comedy Movies
The House movies are fun retro horror/comedy films. This is the best value to get all the movies in one set. The first movie is by far my favorite, but the other ones are fun to watch too. The video quality is much better than the dvds and the special features are well worth the purchase alone. Another thing to note is that all the movies are Region Free.

Region B and A/B , But all play fine on North American players.
Box sleeve was marked Region B, with each movie being marked region A/B and B. However no issues playing all the movies on a North American blu-ray player or a Buffalo external PC blu-ray drive using their PowerDVD software. As usual, Arrow Video does NOT disappoint. Presentation for this collection is beautiful, vivid and what you'd expect from Arrow. The menus and blu-ray transfer from the film negative is flawless for this cult film classic. It makes me truly wonder why I don't own and enjoy more Arrow video titles. This set is created with the movie collector in mind with lots of extra goodies that online streaming will never satisfy.

Knock knock… You’re Dead!
As soon as I seen this was an Arrow release I knew this franchise was in great hands. When it comes to restorations of long-forgotten 80’s horror, there’s only a handful of companies I trust with quality releases. All 4 films have been stacked with bonus material and are indeed playable in the US. I know it says Region B, but I can confirm that all 4 discs play with no problem.

Region Free
No need to bore you with movie reviews. If you're considering this set, you already know what you're in for. Currently the only easily available entries in this series in Region A are the first two films. Well, good news, this particular "region 2" 4 disc collection plays on Region A players despite what some of the boxes might say. The transfers, audio, etc are all very nice, as you'd expect from Arrow but, yeah, if you want all four House flicks for a good price, this is the go-to.

Worked for me in MN, USA
Ordered this blu-ray set from seller Blockchain Media. I was a little nervous about the number of reviews that noted some or all of their included discs were Region B encoded. Mine showed up yesterday with this “Tested and Confirmed” sticker on the shrink wrap. I haven’t had a chance to watch the movies in full yet, but I fed each one into my (standard US Region A) player yesterday afternoon just to see for myself; they did indeed all load up, and I was able to start watching the first few minutes of the movie on each disc. Sweet! The production values for the box/cases/discs are fantastic, and what I’ve seen of the transfers so far look quite good as well, especially for genre movies of this particular age. Looking forward to popping some corn and enjoying all four soon.

Wonderful Set that plays on Region A player
Have always wanted all 4 films, but was skiddish about ordering this considering it says Region B Blu Ray. Happy to say all 4 films played wonderfully on my Region A player. Love these quirky films.
