Introducing the Drivewatch 380G camera, featuring a built-in GPS, Sony Exmor imaging, and a built in shock sensor. This camera creates crisp 1080P images with a 154 degree ultra wide angle lens. Built in GPS functionality writes time, location, and speed onto video file. In the event of an emergency, a one touch emergency button immediately protects your recording and prevents it from being overwritten. The camera includes super capacitor technology that is safer than a battery in a heated parked car. Cyclical record enables you to mount the dash cam in the car and have it automatically recording at all times.

This camera is probably the best camera I have purchased for my car
This camera is probably the best camera I have purchased for my car, functionality and performance wise, and I have purchased many car cameras. It always turns on and off automatically, always records, no glitches of any kind, GPS built-in with no ridiculous excessive wires. It has the most important features. I love it.I would have preferred a smaller size and a 170 degree lens but aside from that it is excellent,

Great night capture. 12v input
Excellent camera, very good night capture. Clear clean video. Trust me when I say a capacitor is better then a battery. For anyone wanting to hardwire the camera the power input for this camera is 12v, no need to get a power converter I just bought an inline serviceable fuse and cut the included power supply.

Returned for Refund
Images have a strong fisheye effect. Also, the camera would not record after disconnecting power even after battery was charged. MUCH PREFER the E-Prance B48 with GPS!!! Oh, also, the manual for the Drivewatch left a lot to be desired. Is a new manual for the E-Prance - very good - FANTASTIC picture!!

Needs some tweaks, but still worth double the cost. Colored me impressed.
*I purchased the Drivewatch 380G via the drivewatch.com website, so I might not show up as a verified buyer* I started my love affair with dash cams when I bought a GW1H in June 2014. It has performed flawlessly capturing about 40 events (near hits and various idiots) and many an autocross/track day run. Started my research looking for a two-channel system, but was turned off by the unknown quality in the systems I was looking at with the features I wanted. Saw a mention of the DW 380G on reddit and began researching! From what I found was the 380G has the same hardware specs listed as other similar models that are double the cost.Pros: Solid build quality, cheap price, clear and easy to use touch screen display, great HD video and super night performance compared to my GW1H.Cons: The online manual is mehhhhhhh. Does not have an explanation about the CAM IN input. Speed shown is KPH, not FREEDOM units aka MPH. The plastic tab that connects to camera to the mount is very TIGHT; I'll be shaving it slightly.I remove the dashcam when not driving so it will not be exposed to extreme heat or cold ( I believe that is why my GW1H has lasted). To view the video with all sorts of awesome data and mapping, google RegistratorViewer and use that. I will be using it for data collection for autocross. Also, you are able to switch KPH to MPH, but this does not correct it in the actual video. I hope a firmware update will add this feature *HINT HINT*. I do not know if other 380 styled-cameras' firmware will upload to it and it appears that question has not been answered in the forums. I will give Drivewatch time because I am happy with their branded camera. I'm not sure how accurate the lateral G sensor is, but it seem relatively close. I use a 64gig Sandisk Endurance micro SD in an adapter, no trouble despite forum members saying BADDDDD BADDDDDDDD. All in all, I have recommended this dashcam to my friends that currently have cheapo knock-off cameras. Thus far, this a great camera for half the price of similar cameras with the same listed hardware. Even with the small problems (manual update, firmware update hopefully in the near future) I give this camera 5/5 stars.

4 years with this Dash Cam - never failed
I wish all things were built like this...saved me from paying insurance deductibles for 2 accidents. Used a San Disk 128gb card. The camera works....in hot cars...very cold winters...I never take it out of the car unless I use a rental, and it comes with me.
