GUMFine Waxed Dental Floss, Mint - 200 Yards (6pk)

I thought I was buying a product similar to the last Gum brand floss I ordered. Unfortunately this was not like it. It is not waxed and then gets stuck in between my teeth and shreds as it comes out. And because it is a six pack I am stuck with 5 and 9/10s of packs. Not really stuck with because I will give them away.

For thirty years I have been using Butler/Sunstar/GUM fine, unwaxed dental floss on the recommendation of my periodontist. He even sold it in his office. The last time I bought it online, one year ago, there was a note that it "sadly was being discontinued." I should have stocked up then, but I didn't believe the note. I have just attempted to reorder and now I realize that it is gone from the market. So this product, GUM Fine Waxed Dental Floss Mint, is the closest thing to it. Actually, if I couldn't see the container, I would not know that this floss is any different than the old one. The wax is very minimal, and the mint is just a hint of fragrance. It is essentially the same reliable product as I have known for decades.

This floss rarely breaks and is not too thick.

I wouldn’t recommend this floss. Very difficult to get in between the teeth. Where is the wax?

I was excited to find this floss which claims to be suitable for close or tight teeth. Eight out of ten days, it breaks off in my teeth. What I hoped would be the best floss for my situation has turned out to be the worst.

I had to give them all away because the thread would always break off in my teeth and I couldn't get it out. I might work if you don't have tight teeth.

Works as expected. Nice that it's a fine floss, since it's easier to get in between those teeth that are too close to each other.

This is the same floss I've used for years, but in a new dispenser. I love this floss - my teeth are close together, and this gets in between nicely.The odd thing is the new dispenser allows you to rewind the floss if you pull out too much. Really, has anyone ever cared about accidentally wasting four inches of floss? So I'm not too sure the change of dispenser was necessary, but oh well. Still a great product.

I like this dental floss since I have little space between my teeth, but this productis made specifically for this purpose and does not shred. Have been using this productfor years and will continue to do so. The spools of this floss have a larger capacitywhich is great and last longer. Highly recommend this dental product.Bob

Bad purchase for me. Will never buy it again
