I have long suffered from plantar fasciitis and used to wear custom orthotics - just moved them from one pair of shoes to another as needed. But…. What about slightly different shoe shapes? What happens when my insoles are soaking wet after a 5-mile August run in Houston? For this reason, I have been on a multi-year quest for the perfect non-prescription orthotic so I can have multiple sets on hand. Done! These are the ones.I know from experience that not every person will find the same inserts comfortable, but I absolutely love them. Heaven for my feet. Tread Labs also offers a range of arch heights and firmness levels, and the quality is simply unmatched by anything other then my old $600 prescription/custom orthos. This is the happiest I have been about a purchase in a very long time. Thank you.

I gave it 4 stars only because I understand this product is not built for anything other than casual, daily activities. If you would like to use it for any activity that is more physically demanding than walking, then no, this is not for you.The first impression was good. I like the idea that we can save money by replacing only the cover. In terms of the level of comfort and arch support, I like it. I honestly think I cannot find any better insole for casual daily activities like walking. But, there is a big problem: the top cover is actually just a thin and soft layer of foam and it provides almost no support/shock absorption whatsoever. So when you land, you would feel that you land without the insole. Another 4-star review also mentioned this problem that it feels like your feet being hammered when running. I agree with that assessment. That is a deal breaker for me.

Provides great support and cushion

I've gone through at least 10 different brands of insoles since Sof Sole changed its designs after the company or its name was acquired by a new owner. None worked as well as the old design of Sof Sole's AIRR Performance Orthotic (but I now see that the new owner may have returned to the old design although some of the reviewers are suggesting otherwise). Regardless. the Pace insole from Tread Labs works perfectly for my feet. I have medium high arches but my feet are slighly misaligned so I overpronate when I walk. These insoles correct that so well that I barely notice my feet after a 5 mile walk.

I have been a really active person my entire life and had to give up running after 40 years due to extremely swollen and painfulAchilles tendinitis on both feet ! Walking and every day activities were tolerable, but painful at night . These insoles have helped me continue to do activities ( not running sadly) I have worn prescription orthotics my entire life , but after my last pair broke down I have tried these tread lab insoles and they are as good . Just wish there was a touch more cushioning in them !

Great product and fantastic customer service. I originally ordered the Pace insole for high arches and was not happy with them. After only a few weeks they were showing heavy wear and started to smell bad. The Pace insole is a very soft foam(too soft for me) so I contacted Tread Labs and explained my issues and asked if I could exchange the Pace insole for a Dash(which is a firmer foam and vented). They happily agreed and sent me a pair of the dash insoles which turn out to be perfect for me and no more smell! You will not be disappointed with this product or this company.

I have extra high arches and metatarsalgia. I wasn't able to walk my dogs for over a month, then I ordered the High Arch Supports from Tread Lab. In 4 days, the relief in my feet was amazing and I was taking my dogs for short (1 mile) walks. I realized I needed the Extra High Supports, though, and ordered those to try. I've worn those for two days and already have another significant decrease in the pain and discomfort in the balls of my feet, knees and arches when wearing them. I can't speak to the durability of the product, as I have only had them a short time, but they were very fast and easy for my feet to adjust to, and the insoles have good cushion. I've found both shoes and winter (MN WINTER, MIND YOU) boots that will work with them. Highly recommend them!

I’ve been wearing these insoles for about 5 months and I feel that they greatly help me get through each day, on my feet all day at work. The strong plastic arch support seems to help keep the pressure off my heel where I was having pain. No more heel pain since wearing these.Update: It’s been a year and a half since I bought these insoles and I still LOVE them. They way they support my arches makes it easy to stay on my feet all day without heel pain or fatigue. Best purchase ever.
