I bought 2 of these since the price was so good. I was very impressed by the quality of the product. I can not tell you if the water will last cold for 12 hours since I never let water sit that long (I tend to carry this for work and am constantly refilling it). But what I CAN tell you is that it was cold every time I opened it to drink. I like the fact that it is slim and it does fit in my backpack and also it comfortably fits in my car's cup holder. I am grabbing this 9 out of 10 times over my 40oz hydroflask because it is so convenient to have (the hydroflask is just too big). And since I am refilling it as I go, I become more concious to drink more water. The finish on the bottle was great, it is anti slipping, and I have never had this bottle "sweat" due to its vacuum insulation.

I bought this bottle to bring with me on an international vacation. I'm so happy I bought it; I originally purchased it because Hydro Flask brand was way too expensive for such a simple bottle, so I did my research for something high quality but at a reasonable cost. I also wasn't willing to cash out a lot of money for something I knew I was going to dent and slam into it and my previous bottles would be destroyed, especially after trips and long hikes.PROS:+ keeps my water cold past 10 hrs ++ keeps my hot liquids past 5 hrs+ body of bottle has gritty texture feel to it (some people might prefer smooth feel)+ extremely light weight+ already bang it a couple of times with very little dent or scratches+ the logo is simple and cool and the outline of the dog makes it better+ has yet to leakCONS:- I don't even knowI'm looking forward to taking this across the world to see how it holds up.

I ordered this bottle because of the reviews and the price, on sale in Amazon for $7 is a steal. The bottle worked perfectly, ice lasted hours and the bottle did not sweat on my desk, I was in love. It was awesome. UNTIL the nozzle stopped working. After 3 weeks of using it almost everyday, water was notComing up. I thought it was the straw but I switched it with my daughters speed hound bottle and it was not the straw it was the nozzle. I have been unable to find a replacement lid. It's sad because I truly liked this water bottle.

**UPDATE 04/22/2017**After contacting Menlo brands customer support, they offered to send a replacement bottle for free. It took a couple of weeks but I did receive the bottle which works much better. The CSR explained to me that the issue I had with my bottle is common to the blue sport version and she replaced it with the stainless steel version. It's the same bottle in everything but color and it functions properly. I've bumped my rating from 2 stars up to 4. I can't give it a 5 in good conscience due to the slow response from customer support and the fact that they knew this was a major issue for the blue bottles but haven't recalled/repaired them. The stainless steel bottle works extremely well but isn't what I paid for. Kudos to them for being good enough to replace the malfunctioning bottle though, it is appreciated.**UPDATE 04/10/2017**After less than a month and a half, the sport straw has stopped working. No matter how it's positioned or washed and replaced, I get more air out of it than water. I reached out to customer service over the weekend but haven't heard anything back.I'm very disappointed. This initially appeared to be a high quality bottle and it may just be one defective product out of a thousand but due to the fact it broke in such a short amount of time, and I've received no response from customer service, I've dropped the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.**Original** I can't stand the taste of chlorine tainted city water, so typically I drink a lot of bottled water. However, at $4.99 a case, it can get expensive quickly!When shopping for a water bottle or canteen, it was important to me that it be durable, easy to clean and have a wide enough mouth to accommodate ice cubes. I also searched out bottles that were insulated, as to keep drinks cold or hot while I'm working or at my desk. Enter SpeedHound...This water bottle has met ALL of my wants and needs easily. It's large, 2" diameter mouth easily accommodates crushed as well as cubed ice and the double wall, stainless steel insulated cylinder easily keeps my drinks cold far longer than I need it to. The sport cap model comes with a flip up straw and a carrying handle that makes it easy to either carry around or clip to a backpack. The bottle itself is coated in an extremely durable powder coat finish that is slightly textured, making it easy to grip while the stainless steel interior makes it a cinch to clean!My only two gripes about this water bottle is that it is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE (hand washing only, as recommended by the manufacturer) and the interior portion of the straw tends to fall off easily outside of the container, such as when you're refilling it.All in all, this is probably one of the best sport bottles on the market and at this price point, it can't be beat! I highly recommend ordering this water bottle!

I love my speed hound insulated water bottle and so does my husband! He's always stealing mine so we need to buy another. The water bottle/thermos is double insulated so it doesn't sweat. I haven't tried hot liquids in it yet (it is July) but it definitely keeps cool liquid cold! It's quite impressive. The mouth is wide and the lid screws on easily and securely, no worries about it spilling. It's lightweight but feels like it's built very well! It will hold 21oz, I tested.My only complaint is that the table printed on the bottle smudges a little. My husband says he can smell a slight funny smell when he drinks out of it but I haven't smelt a thing. The bottle comes in white or black and the paint is slightly textured so you can have a good grip on it.Overall this is a awesome product. Worked great for about a year then it started not keeping my ice water cold for more then a few hours. Ice melts instantly and it pours condensation all over. Warranty states it will never condensate, I have tried to reach out to the company for warranty but they do not respond. Insulation is probably no good inside, at least that’s what hydro flask told me. Wish there was some one to contact so I could get it fixed I loved this bottle
