Seventh GenerationLaundry Detergent, 23 oz (66 Loads) Ultra Concentrated EasyDose, Alpine Falls

I like seventh generation on general principle, and happily use and of their products. This is the first time I've had an issue with them. And the detergent is great. Don't get me wrong. It smell nice without being overpowering and cleans my clothes well.But the delivery system. Oy the delivery system.It's a great idea, it just doesn't work well. It took me about 6 uses before I mostly had it down. I still make a mess most of the time.It takes one firm squeeze, but if you don't turn it over quickly, squeeze hast and immediately turn it back upright, it runs right out of the bottle, completely nullifying the small amount necessary for the load. Which when I squeezed it over my old detergents measuring cup is about half of what I've needed before.So, by all means, but seventh generation laundry detergent. Just not in this bottle.

I’m quite familiar with Seventh Generation’s products (I’ve used their dish soap for a while now and the disinfectant). Rose is one of my fave herbs and scents so when I saw this detergent I had to grab it. The rose smell is very noticeable and will stay in your clothes for days after you wash them!It’d be great if Seventh Generation made a powder detergent with this scent! I’d definitely purchase.

I hope they NEVER ever change this formula or packaging! This stuff is amazing! I have a tendency to over use detergent even though I am aware the proper amount makes a big difference in the results. This instant-stop-squirt-contraption-of-a-lid makes it so easy and simple. Also, it smells so amazing! It’s a very fresh, slightly floral scent that is mildly present after your clothes are dry. I would not say it’s a particularly sweet smell but not overly perfumey or masculine smelling either. Just crisp and fresh. The scent isn’t overwhelming but I like that. Overall I am super impressed. I have a 3 year old-stains are tough, time is precious. This was easy and worked perfectly. And I was worried because i didn’t pretreat any of the stains on my sons clothes and yet- so clean. I washed everything on cold. This stuff really works.

You know how with a front loader, cold wash can be well not so fresh, even if you're being diligent about draining the nasty water out. And I hate scent in detergent. So, after trying many many brands, I think this is my fave. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the "squeeze" measurement. I mean, idk, what if you're really strong? That squeeze could be way too much haha. But seriously. I would kinda like a general volumetric guideline.

It works but is a little hard to get use to. I also didn't feel like it did as well as the other seventh generation concentrated liquid. So I have gone back to it instead of this one.

The product is great but it leaked into the box and made a mess. This type of product needs to be packaged better.

It’s neat that it auto-dispenses the right amount. However I seem to always get the liquid on my hands or on the bottle, inadvertently creating a mess.

This is a good product like other Seventh Gen products. Unfortunately the Easydose cap dispenser does not work and the detergent continues to stream from the bottle. It's ultra concentrated but you end up using the bottle in no time due to the extra liquid dispensed for each wash.

It’s hard to believe that you need so little detergent to do such a great job of cleaning your laundry, but this product proves how much extra packaging most laundry detergents waste. They should all be this super-concentrated! The bottle dispenses just the right amount with one squeeze. It has no artificial colours or fragrances, and is safe for sensitive skin. It does a great job of cleaning, and leaves my laundry smelling fresh and soft. I only use cold water and have noticed no difference in cleaning power. It is low sudsing, which makes it excellent for use in high-efficiency, side-loading machines. All this, and the reduced packaging is better for the environment. Win-win-win all around!

I have a very hard time finding products that don't irritate my skin. I can't use any fragrance and there can't be harsh chemicals or my skin gets really itchy. This product doesn't irritate my skin at all, yet it works well enough to take dirt and smell out of my clothes. I work with dogs so my clothes are really stinky, using other detergents I could still smell it after washing. This stuff cleans the clothes properly and doesn't leave clothes smelling like they're still dirty, which is hard to find in a gentle, scent free detergent! Highly recommend to anyone suffering with sensitive skin, and a bonus that it's cost efficient compared to other sensitive skins products.

I had my doubts. But this laundry detergent solves two of the biggest problems we have in our household: people using too much detergent and leftover detergent on clothes causing skin issues and making clothing get dirty faster.Most laundry products have a cap with an invisible line that we are supposed to be able to see in order to measure the amount. But it is human nature that if a little is good, then more is better. This isn't the case with soaps and detergents as they can often leave a residue on the clothes which attracts dirt or causes skin issues. Having the measuring system in the bottle itself is awesome and this gets the clothes looking and feeling cleaner than any other product I've tried so far.Although, with our water, the detergent works better if I put a bit of vinegar in the fabric softener compartment.

I've tried many sensitive skin, fragrance free washing detergents and this is the one I keep coming back to. Seems to wash my clothing well, no issues with skin and totally fragrance free.I had to get over the thought that I needed to use a larger amount of detergent per load. One squirt is all that is needed with this detergent.It also has not taken the colour out of my towels when I squirted it into the water directluy onto my clothing and towels. I am really bad about not following the directions about filling your washer with water and detergent BEFORE adding my clothing as I am always in such a rush. So many of the other liquid detergents have left discolourations on my towels but not this one.

Best for sensitive skin. Clean ingredients a must have for the non toxic clean household. Excellent product.Con: I usually buy in the store but it was on sale so I bought on Amazon. It came leaking all in the individual bags it came in FULL OF SOAP so much that it leaked from the bag into the box. When I opened it. The kids were half twisted off. My advice would be to tighten the lids before you bag them. Some leakage to be expected but this much we’re talking half bottles gone.
