Overpriced!
$28 for a Kindle version? No thanks! That comment is intended as a protest to the publisher, not for you as a reader. At that price I would not buy it; I'd wait for the library to find me a copy. More wonderful books are published every day than one has time or money for. Anti-science craziness in India, the United States, and elsewhere has been well-documented in the news. It is hard to miss. This book would have to be very special indeed to justify that pricing. I'll find out eventually whether it really is. Choosing books to spend money on is always a struggle. Publishers often overprice books that they expect will become prescribed course books to be inflicted on unsuspecting students and purchased by libraries. I suspect that that is what's going on here - note the very academic 'Feminist Technoscience' niche classification!

Interesting and timely book
Fascinating (and disturbing) analysis of how India's Hindu nationalists intertwine science and myth.
