"Rocket red"?! I think NOT
I needed red paper to make signs, posters and tags for my students art show. Having run out of red paper and money from the school budget I purchased this out of pocket in order to have enough to cover what we needed to print .On what planet is this red ? My only guess is it is called rocket red because it was sent on a rocket to another planet and aliens trying to understand human "earth" colors blindly named it such. Please trust me on this , I am an artist - I know my colors , but clearly the people working for this company did not ...If you are ordering this because you need FLORESCENT CORAL paper , then - by all means purchase it ...but please do not make the same mistake i did , which was expecting to recieve a ream of red paperObviously it will not pay to ship this back and I will end up ordering paper from another company (NOT NEEHAH) I'm sure I will be able to use this in another application, just very upset I need to buy a replacement

Amazing quality and color
Fantastic buy! The quality is amazing! I cant really say as to its printability as I am mainly using this paper for origami purposes. The paper is slightly thicker than normal copy paper but it holds its shape and creases really well. The black is even and dark. I wouldn't recommend using this paper to try and make very small origami as it does get difficult to fold. The smallest thing I have been able to make is lucky stars. If I find other uses for this paper I will update my review accordingly. Hope this helps!

Nice paper but nowhere NEAR the color I expected...
Okay, it's great paper and all, as paper goes, and it ran through my laser printer just fine. But it's not "Rocket Red". in fact, it's not red at all.Just to be sure it wasn't me (I AM a guy, after all... I'm a bit useless beyond secondary colors), I turned all the lights on and asked my Darling Bride if she thought it was red. NOPE.It's really difficult to describe a color... I mean, try explaining to someone what a rose smells like. But this is more of a pinkish color than it is red. A lot more pinkish. Maybe a coral on steroids, but it's not red.I bought this paper specifically for a project that requires red paper. I printed out four sample pages, but I'm pretty sure that this paper won't work.So if you need a ream (minus four pages) of not-pink-not-coral-but-definitely-not-red paper cheap, let me know!

Just A Fraction Of An Inch From Perfect
When I placed the order, I was unsure of the color; I wanted a true red and everything I'd seen locally had an orange cast. The color was perfect for my needs. We have an alarm company with the word American in our name, so in keeping with the theme, our reports are printed on white paper, using the red as section dividers. The reports are then bound with a navy blue back cover and clear front. With the exception of the front and back covers, all pages have printed text; and this is the problem. When the paper arrived, I did notice that it was a bit wider and longer than standard 8 1/2" X 11" paper but didn't expect to have a problem with it. When printing reports, all of the paper is loaded in the order it's to be printed, 1 white cardstock, 2 whites a red, 4 whites a red, 5 whites a red, etc. To do as we have always done, the paper guides had to be reset to allow for the extra 1/8" width. Everything printed on the red paper was perfectly straight. Unfortunately, the standard sized white paper kept shifting within the guides and the pages were either printed crooked or jammed in the printer. We finally gave up and started trimming the paper to match the standard size. It's been a few months and we only have about 400 more sheets to trim!Update: I did finally give up and donated the oversized red and ordered another pack. The sizing of the new pack is exactly 8 1/2" X 11" and for that, it got a star upgrade.

The blue is way too dark for printing
I don't want to give this paper a very poor mark, because it is high quality and a pretty color. Also, Astrobrights is a good brand. HOWEVER, it is way too dark to use for printing. That is why I gave it an "okay" rating. Keep this in mind when ordering: What is your intended use? If you want paper for craft projects, scrapbooking, kids' activities, etc., this would probably be a good choice. If, on the other hand, you want a paper for printing fliers, leaflets, invitations, etc., this not the color for you.

Product great but shoddy delivery
Received three reams and the packaging of all three was ripped open- for two it was open on three sides. The paper itself is in good condition but the damaged packaging makes it impossible for me to store neatly and safely. The shipping box was intact so the reams of paper were in this condition when placed in the shipping box. The damage did not occur in shipping. Looks like I got reams that were culled from the good stock because of the condition of the wrapping.Astrobright paper itself is wonderful- vibrant color and good weight. Folds very well for origami paper if you prefer to cut your own squares.

Totally different color
I haven't opened the paper as it's not suitable for my project. It was well packaged and arrived early. It's hard to match colors on a monitor, but this paper isn't anywhere near a bright blue or even a light blue. I wanted a turquoise as shown in the photo, but it's sort of a muddy, medium-to-dark blue. The photo needs to be updated to more accurately reflect the actual color.

Made me sick!
The paper color, texture, etc was great, but unfortunately it was mildewed! Upon arrival I only used a few sheets and put a few more in our paper shelf. I didn't notice it. Several weeks later I smelled an odor, but didn't know where it was coming from. I blew it off. Today another several weeks later I was loading the paper shelf. I completely opened the package, and that's when it hit me. The scent was strong. I couldn't believe it! Like an idiot I put the ream of paper to my face and took a big whiff. It smelled awful! My nose has been tingling,my throat is itchy, and my head is started to hurt. The whole ream smells awful and even the few sheets that were on the shelf have ruined the paper next to it. I'm hoping that they will refund or replace.

The black is great but beware when ordering other colours as they are not as bright as they show.
I ordered the Eclipse Black paper and it is great. It wasn't in stock when I placed the order but it still arrived within 2 weeks of ordering it. This is a 24 lb. paper so it is a little thicker than standard white printer paper but about half as thick as card stock (which is 65 lb.) which is great because I purchased this for origami purposes and while it is easy to find black card stock, it is very hard to find black paper that is thin enough to be used for complex origami designs as construction paper is awful for origami as well. The paper is good quality and the shade of black is similar to the black card stock you can get at craft stores. I am very happy with this purchase as I've been looking for something like this for a long time and this was a great price (make sure you are ordering from amazon.ca because when I first tried to order it the default was a place in the US that charged $45 plus $15 for shipping)With all of that being said, I have also purchased an Astrobrights variety pack from Walmart within that past couple of years and would like to mention that the colours they have on display here are unrealistically bright. It looks like there has been some digital doctoring done to the images (plus differing brightness settings on computer monitors will affect colour appearance) because the colours seem to glow vibrantly in the online pictures but when matching them to the corresponding paper colours the paper is actually quite dull in comparison. The other colours are still very good considering that while I have been some brilliantly coloured (and expensive) papers in the origami market, I doubt there are any printer papers on the market that are as bright is these pictures are showing and the price is still pretty good.

Make Your Own Specialty Page Protectors
Because things don't tend to photocopy well on black paper (!!), I had a hard time finding a bale of it, until (of course) I checked Amazon. There was a time when one could buy page protectors (the ones with the holes punched through) which each had a black liner sheet inside. Supposed that people did what I do with it, use it as a background for smaller items to set them off, and increasing the amount of things in the page protector as you have BOTH sides of the black sheet to mount things on in each page protector. Dinosaur that I am, I want to be able to continue to do this; I can reasonably find the page protectors but not the liner-equipped ones, so now I can make up my own.

Oh My Gosh
When I saw 500 I was hoping they were the perfect thickness and colorAnd they wereShipping could be improved, but the paper itself is amazing, perfectly black, not too thick yet not too thin10/10 would buy it againMaybe just improve the packaging, the paper could have gotten mushed on the corners with bad handling, but at least it didn't !

Great for modular origami paper
This is probably a weirdly specific use case, but this paper is fantastic for modular origami. Maybe I don't know where to look, but I haven't found any other sources of black printer paper, so I'd recommend this for sure.
