So pleased with this doggie tote and the customer service is excellent as well. We have electric, collapsible bikes to carry on our boat and was in need for a doggie/grocery basket that could also be taken off and stored with taking up much space. I love this bag serves the purpose of carrying our sweet Zoey or groceries and is easily removed and can collapse so it doesn't take up a ton of space. Our chihuahua, Zoey, is 6 pounds and this basket is an excellent fit for her. It is deep and roomy and I'm glad it is because it keeps her safe. She sits in the bottom and can see perfectly over the top but there's also plenty of room should she decide to lay down. There's a flap on the front you can open for your pup to see out of or to give air. Because it is deep, I don't have to cinch the top closure for her. I like having the top cinch closure in case it's cold outside or if we were to unfortunately get caught in the rain I could close her up and move on without her getting soaked. We rode for about 2 miles the other day and she did great and LOVES the bag! I also carried her around on my back, like a back pack, and she loves that too! This bag will double for us as a doggie tote and a place to put groceries when running to the store. I could also use it carrying her on my back during a hike or on any outings. It's sturdy and I had NO issues with the bag being loose or flopping around while riding. I saw some reviews mentioned missing side slats, but as the company mentioned, the extras are under the bottom floor when the bag arrives. An instruction guide also comes with the bag and as soon as I registered mine for the warranty, I received an email with more detailed instructions. Ann was very friendly and more than willing to help. The only suggestion I would make, and maybe I'm missing something, is the flap on the front you can open, it would be nice to have a way to secure that because when tucked over to the inside, it blocks a little of the screen window. I rolled mine up and tucked it under the inside cinch area but after riding for a while, it unrolled a little with no way to really secure it. Not a deal breaker for me but would just make this bag 110% perfect! Thanks for putting out such a great product and for great customer support! SIDE NOTE: Sorry the pictures are sideways. It is just perfect for my 17 pound schnoodle. My only issue is that the toggle that tightens the neck of the basket to help keep the dog in functions correctly but it is not strong enough. At first I thought it was broken because my pup easily loosened it by wiggling; however, upon closer inspection I saw that was not broken. I had to use a twix it clip to keep it from loosening.

I bought this after searching for a bike basket for my 8yr old chihuahua, she’s 8lbs and she loves to explore with me. We live in AK so she gets cold easily and prefers not to get her paws wet. I was skeptical from some reviews but I’m happy with it so far. I spoil her and try to buy the best quality possible. I thought it was missing the side pieces that hold up the interior walls but after further inspection I discovered them under the bottom piece. It’s deep so I put a small blanket down when I take her for rides so she can see out. She wouldn’t try to jump out but there is a strap you can hook to their harness. It’s very roomy and has side pockets! Make sure you measure your bike to see if this will fit, it might not clear the front wheel. It’s secured to the handlebars with 2 buckles and provided Velcro straps which seems fine but I plan to add reinforcements just to be sure. It also converts into a backpack, I like that it’s versatile and my Chi seems happy so I’m happy! I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it if you have a smaller dog who needs some extra attention when out in the wild 😉

This is a lovely basket, but it does slip around on my handlebars making it awkward for my pup. The basket is wider than it is deep and forces the pup to sit sideways. He prefers looking straight ahead. It’s plenty deep and has a hook for the collar. My high school aged daughter uses it more for picnics. Can carry a blanket and a picnic.

I had the clearance for the carrier but it sags and hits my tire. I wore it as a back pack instead and my dog absolutely loved being able to ride with me but the bottom support piece dug into my back. Luckily it was a short ride around the neighborhood before getting it on a trail. The clip to hold the dog in should be slightly shorter and lower into the box as my dog easily could have hopped out (as she did while the box was still sitting on the ground) and hung herself while I was riding. Also the drawstring closure doesn't hold tight. She was able to pull it right open which allowed her hole body to fit through. I've already ordered something different and sending this back for a refund.

I am replacing another basket that was on the long side and a bit awkward for my dog who had to lay down for it to fit. This one is taller than long so it is perfect.My dog is a 17.5 lb Shih Tzu. It is on my Cruiser.At first after opening I was confused as to how to put it together. It sagged on both sides and had one padded square black piece that seems not to go anywhere. Instructions were confusing.But after posting a question here I got the answers. There were actually 2 additional slanted pieces UNDER THE SOFT BOTTOM PIECE. I did not know they were there. Those went on the side and the random square piece went pressed up against the back. The straps attach to the handle bars while the velcro attached to the stem of the handle bars.My dog looks scared here because I have not put him in a bike basket for over a year, but he will get used to it and even start enjoying the ride like he did before. I will be ordering him goggles as well.This basket is sturdy, attractive and comfortable for my dog, as well as safe. Happy I purchased it.
