Excellent control and easy to use
Hard to say that you love a gas can... really it's a gas can after all. But as most everyone knows, the gas can can be a headache if it's poorly made or is hard to use. This can has become my favorite can ever. So much so I have two of them. One small for my 50/50 mix and one large for standard fuel.I love the finite control and no spillage I get with this can. Since you control the flow with the handle, you can easily shutoff the flow and stay in control. The one thing that takes a little getting used to is the fuel in the hose needs to empty so you have to stop flow ahead of full in your machine. This is because the filler tube is full of fuel as it drains and you need to account for that. But you catch on very quickly and from there you're set.The other thing I like about the style and flexible hose is it makes it easier to add fuel to the hard to reach tools like blowers and weed eaters where the filler hole is slanted and to the side. With this hose you can easily bend it to put fuel in the tank vs all over the place or have to try and hold the unit up while you try and add fuel. Much easier than that for sure. Just put the tool on the ground and use the flexible hose to easily fill without spilling.I know it's pricey for a gas can, but so far with the two I've purchased and having the larger one for over a year now, it's still working flawlessly and I love them. Can't recommend high enough. Just wish the price was a bit lower. But with that said, I'm happy with my purchase anyway.

EASY TO USE!
The only gas can I found that's actually easy to use, doesn't have impossible to manipulate child safety features. No tipping of the canister to get the gas into the tank. The funnel is at the bottom so gravity moves it from the container into your gas tank. This is a fabulous product.

Fantastic Gas Can!!!
I have hated the new "safety" features on gas cans! They are so frustrating to deal with. These Surecan containers are so easy! I don't spill a drop, they're easy to pour, easy to fill! I'm buying a second one!

Wow! An EPA compliant gas can that still works properly!
I will start by saying that the EPA has ruined gas cans. All the anti spilling crap that they have mandated has caused me to spill more fuel than the older gas cans every did. This gas can is different. I love this gas can! Very solid, thick plastic walls. I cannot compress it with my hands. Very stable when full of fuel, dosn't tip over as easily as the standard cans. Another wonderful thing, it is vented! When you press the thumb valve to start pouring, it opens a vent so you won't get the gargling and splashing when filling small yard tools. Two things, I wish it poured a bit faster. For small equipment it is great, but if you are trying to empty the tank it will take a couple minutes and keep in mind that you have to lift the full fuel can above what you are putting fuel in (it gets heavy fast.) My wife would not be able to do this for the couple minutes it takes to empty the fuel can. I use it mostly for small items, lawn mower, weed wacker, chainsaw, snowblower, etc, so this isn't much of a concern for me. Also keep in mind, when filling anything with a small fuel tank, the shut off valve (the part that stops fuel from flowing when you release the thumb valve) is at the base of the hose. So, if you wait until the tank is full to release the thumb valve, the gas that is still in the hose will continue to pour out and spill out. Just make sure you release the thumb valve before the tank is full, you'll get the hang of it.Second, since it has the thicker plastic walls that I love so much, you can't see through them, so you need to be carefull when filling it. Most flimsy gas cans you can see the fuel level, this you can't. I think it is worth the trade off though. The heavy solid sides are amazing, they don't puff up when it gets hot, or collapse when it gets cold. All in all, these cans are amazing and I will be purchasing more.

Does exactly what you want it to do.
Overall it’s a good product. It’s expensive. But, worth it. I already own a surecan. So, it’s not the first time I spent a lot of money on a gas can. It’s super easy to use and does exactly what it says it does. Makes it easy not to spill. My one complaint is they the dust cap on the fuel filler neck isn’t tethered to the spout or can in any way. I expect most of these will be lost shortly after purchase.

Solid and functional
After doing a lot of research, I chose the Surecan over its competitors. Its defining feature is the rotating, flexible hose, combined with a thumb-activated release which makes dispensing fuel easier than other products. This very same set of features also posed some concerns for me as possible points of failure. However, in-depth reviews by landscape professionals who have used these in their business for extended periods attested to both ease of use and build toughness. Having owned it for only a short time, I can confirm that it is, indeed, very easy to use. Whether it will hold up over time remains to be seen. But, I expect, in basic home use, it will do its job for me for years to come. (You may notice that I gave it only 2 stars under "sheerness". That's simply a matter of an objective assessment but doesn't undermine its functionality to any significant degree. The plastic body is thick, strong plastic, which makes it solid but also fairly opaque. It would be nice if a clear viewing stripe was incorporated into the body so you could easily see how much fuel was in the can. But you can easily estimate the amount of fuel by weight, sound, or by sight...if you hold the can up to the light...so it's not really an issue to me.)

Great gas can, fixes all the traditional annoyances.
Love this gas can! Who would have guessed that something like a gas can could be improved so much. The articulating spout lets you hold the can at a comfortable height and angle. Makes refueling so much less awkward. The trigger and vent lets you precisely control the flow rate. No more chug chug as the gas comes spurting out unevenly and likely spilling. And the easy fill opening seals perfectly with the gas pump nozzle avoiding the frequent false cutoffs that occur with other gas cans.Yes it costs a bit more but this very well designed gas can is SO worth it!

Great product but far too expensive. I thought I was buying 2 for this price. Fast shipping.
