This makes a very compact box to house 9mm ammo. Frankly I like it over a more expensive box that involves a tray. You can really pack an .50 cal ammo can with ammo in these little boxes. There are plenty strong to prove to be a very sturdy box. I will be ordering more of this size along with the ones for .223/5.56 mm ammo.

1600 9mm 124gr NATO, in a 50 cal can, that's 50.4 lbs. I800 if you use baggies with room to spare, but they were changing color... To ease closing these boxes, you'll see after a few boxes, it much easier to staple the two far sides. After the boxes are closed, if you don't want the staples simply remove them as I did. With the above tweak it went quite a bit faster than I thought it would, mind numbing without using staples.

Pretty handy, simple and inexpensive. I am re-doing all my stored stuff with them now and saving tins of space.

Needed to re-box some ammo that had been exposed to moisture, where the original boxes had included molded inserts. These boxes were not large enough to contain the original inserts, so had to contrive 2-box assemblies with these to do so.

I reload and like to have my rounds stored neatly, and this was just the ticket! My only complaint is that once you remove a couple rounds, the box is basically worthless because the flaps that stabilize the box fit between rounds, so once you remove a few the structure of the box is completely gone.For storing reloaded ammo neatly, this is great. I write the load data on the box, stick in my ammo can, and it’s there to grab a few bricks when I’m off to the range.

I really like the products this company makes. I have used their 9mm and their 5.56 boxes and I think they are awesome. They are thick enough to feel good when stacking. This box packs a little different than other 9mm bikes you get from the store but it makes the box more stable.If you have a very compact 9mm tray it should work with this, if you don’t, be sure to get the one they sell to make packing way easier.

I love these boxes. I bought to try, because I'm always looking for more efficient ways to store ammo, both bulk purchased stuff as well as reloads. Most factory boxes have a lot of empty space - air gap or foam. These are basically the same as storing loose, but packaged. ALSO, the cardboard is definitely not flimsy.I forgot to buy the little plastic tool, and found that I could pack my 9mm without it but I think it might be a little faster with it, so that is in my cart too - its cheap.

This is the most economical and space-saving way to store reloads that I have found, so far.
