Lorex 4K Ultra HD Analog Indoor/Outdoor Add-On Security Camera with Color Night Vision (Requires Recorder)

I bought the original package of 4 Lorex security cameras in 2020. Great clear picture. The camera has already paid for itself as I have replayed it to find what was going on outside and around my viewing area. I had to buy this replacement camera because I had just one camera plugged into the wall socket not a surge protector as there was no more room in the protector with the other 3 cameras plugged in. The power went out for 2 days when it came back on camera blew out. Take note....Please use a Surge Protector never thought this would happen. However it was an easy fix bought this replacement camera hung it up and now I'm off and running. Great product.

I bought a Lorex system about two years ago that came with four 2k cameras but the capability to have eight 4k cameras. I was satisfied with the 2k cameras, but bought this 4k to see if it was worth it. It definitely was. The higher quality is definitely noticable side by side. Do yourself a favor and buy this one.

Look good, great picture quality. Easy to use.Was not fun installing them around the outside of the house.

If you need it by a certain date be careful. It was supposed to be here by the 9th then changed to the 16th on the 9th when I had installers scheduled to be here for the 10th. So be careful. Also, this is my second set. The first ones came with a four pack, the night vision stopped working. There two are replacements for the two of the four pack that went out. Then I will contact Lorex direct for warranty. But maybe there is another brand more reliable.

Updated: the seller sent me the power cable and the u it works great. No issues at all now. I was informed they purchase the cameras from the manufacturer in boxes of 4, then sell them individually as brand new.I also just received one, and as someone else mentioned, it was wrapped in a plastic bag and not in the new/original Lorex packaging. On top of that there is no power cable for it and the cable it came with is also not the original Lorex cable which I have received with all my other cameras. Very disappointing.

Purchased a “kit” or “system” from Lorex and needed an extra camera. The Lorex system is great and these cameras are nice as they support sound and have color night vision. 4K pic is great.

Camera works just like the ones that came with the system i bought. All the parts came with the box, camera, mounting screws and ankers, mounting template, and the BNC cable.

South this as a replacement for one of my Lord Cameras. Not compatible. Make sure that the camera will work on your DVD recorder and that the DC adapter is the right type.

I have had my base package for 2 years and it works very well. bought this to add one more camera and it is what I expected, good quality picture and great night vision with the IR light but I did not notice night time colour. night time colour was not a selling feature for me. I wish the Lorex cameras were a little cheaper but I have bought a couple cheap cameras and neither of them are still working .. so I paid the money and I assume it will last like the ones that came with the original package (DVR and 6 cameras).

I could not use this camera on my system. I have to return it, when I purchased it I thought it was being purchased on my prime. As it goes I have to pay for the shipping and won’t be refunded until they receive the item back. Be careful on check out and be sure it is what you want and it is prime if that’s what you want.
