After upgrading our house to a metal roof, my in-attic antenna no longer worked since it was basically in a tin can. I never liked the looks of outdoor antennas. We live in South Florida between West Palm Beach and Miami. I wanted something low profile and something that didn't look like an antenna.Installed this today and got 87 channels. It is picking up both Miami and WPB stations with full signal for WPB and all but one bar for Miami stations so the signal is great from both sides. In addition, I'm using a splitter to deliver it to three TVs with no problem.I docked it a star because the cable could have been longer and it would have been nice to power the signal amplifier via USB instead of a wall-wart. Otherwise, a great product.I highly recommend this for the south Florida suburbs.

The antenna needed some adjustments to get mounted in place. The enclosed clamps were too large to attach it to a 1 inch pole. I used a backing board to get the antenna on the pole. Reception was somewhat better but not dramatically better. I can get the local PBS channels and the Fox channel clearly now compared to no reception or a very pixcelated image. The omni-directional feature is useful.

Finally found the antenna that receives (almost) all over-the-air channels available for our location. Lightweight and easy to install. Picture quality better than ever. No more re-scanning or adjusting when changing channels. Still can't get Public Broadcasting but haven't tried the attic yet.Stay tuned for updates.

I was tired of paying monthly fees for mostly national network viewing. I read pros and cons on Amazon about this antenna. I had nothing to lose to try it out, knowing the easy to return policy Amazon offers. The instillation and setup instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. Satellite company, thank you for the mounting hardware. I took off the dish and found the mounting brackets perfect for my use for this antenna. I just purchased a small section of 1 1/2" PVC plastic pipe from my local hardware store. I have more channels than what I wanted and actually watch. Reception is excellent with crystal clear viewing, all in 1080p HD. So my initial output for the purchase of this antenna is just $10 more than one months satellite service charges. I purchased the Fire TV stick and Recast so I can record. I'm able to set up programs I enjoy, for recording to view at my Convenience. What's nice about recording is I can fast forward through the commercials. El equipo es pequeño, comodo para instalar, tiene bastante cable coaxial para poder ubicar facilmente. lamentablemente, para el area donde vivo, PR, no recoge las frecuencas de los canales locales. No lo recomiendo para Puerto Rico. :(

We live in the hills of Southern Ohio and so reception can be tricky. We had a regular OTA antenna and it only got our 3 local PBS channels, the CW, and 2-3 subchannels (only in the evening). We replaced it with this model and WOW! We get over 25 channels all the time. There are weather issues, as with any system, but they are minimal. The pictures are clear and actually, look as good as with the satellite TV service. And fewer outages!! :)Installation was easy. We already had a pole installed so we just swapped it out. We use the pole since our house sits slightly off the ridgeline.I would recommend it to anyone needing a good antenna! Expectations are important, however. This is not cable service and you aren't going to get 100s of channels. You will get channels that are. local to you. We are getting channels up to about 70 miles away. There are some that I wish I got but there are no towers near me to transmit signals. Research before hand is key to good expectations!

We have tried two of these antennas at two different locations. In the first we were able get decent results by rotating the antenna until the results were acceptable. In the second location we could not get consistent results and changed it out to a different type of antenna with much better results.Since first posting this review I have received about 6 requests, apparently from the manufacturer, to delete the review and receive an Amazon gift certificate as a bribe. The first note appeared at first glance to have come from Amazon, but actually didn't. The subsequent notes raised the amount of the payoff from $20, to $30, and topped out at $40.The bottom line is that the antenna did not work well in our applications, with one returned and the other no longer in use, and replaced with a Winegard Platinum HD7694P that has proven quite effective.

I needed a decent antenna for my Fire Recast and was using the 1byOne 60 mile model which worked well and gave me 32 digital channels, but I could not get Fox. CBS, ABC, & NBC, plus a whole bunch of others worked well, but I could not get Fox. Well, I figured I would try the 150 mile version.The unit arrived in a sealed box, but was missing the amplifier and mounting hardware. Amazon promptly swapped the unit out. The replacement antenna had all the proper parts to install it. I mounted it in my attic and connected it with the supplied amplifier to my Amazon Fire Recast and then rescanned for channels. Wow! I went from 32 to 48 channels and now I get the 4 major networks crystal clear in HD along with a slew of other channels with classic shows and comedies. It was super easy to install.With this 150 mile antenna from 1byOne, I finally can leverage the DVR capability of my Fire Recast.Very happy and would recommend!

Did not like this product at all!!! I installed it and recalculated the stations. Moved and rotated the antenna several times and the end result was only 12 stations. I had made my own antenna and can receive 38 stations. Certainly not impressed at all and certainly not worth the money or time spent on this product.I don't even feel this product should get a rating!!!!
